The hotel was lovely. We had lunch on the large front porch. Was a great spot to talk and relax. The lobby was sunny and tastefully decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will return.
Room was NOT cleaned/refreshed when we came back in the evening; coffee cups not even emptied. When asked, they said "Because you have clothes on the bed", but it was 2 pieces of kid pajamas on one of the 2 beds. When we clarified, they promised to get back to us with an explanation by the morning. We are already back home. So far, we are still waiting.
Location is great and the exterior is beautiful
The room was amazing. They had this cute little ice box right outside our door. It smelled amazing in the hotel . The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially Larry. He was amazing.

Jacuzzi tub did not work and felt like for $300 it should have. Hot water took forever. No available coffee to get until 8!

WOW!! I had no idea what to expect from this hotel and I absolutely LOVE it. It’s really clear no expense was spared in making this a lovely place to stay while in Yellow Springs. The room was so comfortable and quiet, the water pressure in the spacious shower is great, and huge bonus, there was a Nespresso machine and pods in the room! As well as a plush corgi (available for purchase)! We soon noticed a corgi theme throughout the hotel, which was icing on the cake as a corgi lover myself.
The lobby, restaurant, and coffee bar were all excellent—bright and happy and a lovely place to stay. The gift shop is really nice as well, with a lot of items you wouldn’t find anywhere else, including the hotel’s own line of candles. Also available: a good selection of wine and beer, Hammond’s chocolate bars, and at least three sizes of plush corgis. This hotel is a corgi lover’s dream.
The staff was excellent and accommodating, the front porch is a destination all unto its own—an ideal place to read and drink coffee as the world goes by, and I really can’t wait to come back and bring my corgi-loving kids. Thank you for a lovely time!
no room safe, poor tub shower ---should be replaced by walk in. charging for bottled water, no hand held soap.
