Location was great and the room was very clean.
Breakfast, pancakes came out uncooked. Decided not to re-order those so we split my breakfast.
If you're in or anywhere near Yellow Springs, you pretty much want to stay at this very nice hotel.
The Mills Park Hotel is conveniently located toward the center of town in Yellow Springs. It is an easy walk to the entire downtown as well as to Antioch College. There is convenient parking out back.
The hotel is charming. The lobby area is bright and pleasant. There is a nice shop that sells good wine along with quality items. Our room was large and comfortable and everything was immaculate. The staff was relaxed and friendly.
We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, "Ellie's," which I believe is named for the owner's corgi. There is a corgi merry-go-round figure out front. There was also a stuffed Corgi toy in our room (and they likely sell a lot of them in the shop on the first floor).
We came here for a weekend getaway and were delighted with our choice.
Convenient parking. Elevator. Spacious balcony. Nearby nature trails were great. Complimentary coffee from the onsite restaurant.
In-room frig/freezer was not cold enough and my ice cream melted overnight.
It was convenient and pleasant. The staff was wonderful and responded to every concern that I had
The restaurant was closed most of the time which made it quite inconvenient. They didn’t provide even one bottle of water free of charge and considering the cost of the hotel that seemed a little bit “tacky“ especially since there was plenty of coffee and tea.
chef was sick, and we have to go out for breakfast.
Double sink vanity in bathroom! Some type of rug or carpet around bed so you don;t step out on a bare floor!
It was corgi themed which is so cute and the restaurant was really good. I loved the porch and the room was wonderful. The staff were kind and helpful!
I wish they had a king bed option
Breakfast was good. I like the location. Easy to access the trail.
I would like to have had a refrigerator in the room. Also, they have no ice machines. They provide bags of ice in a chest, which is not refrigerated. Consequently, the ice is partially melted and you would need a hammer to break up the ice in order to use it. For what you pay for a room, I would expect better.
Our aunt took us to dinner while we were in town visiting family. The hotel was decorated lovely and the dining experience was great. Our waiter took good care of us and the food came out fast and hot. Every one enjoyed their meal. We would eat here again.
The staff and rooms were lovely! The location cannot be beat.
There is one thing-- The common areas are overwhelmingly perfumed, so much so that my daughter and I couldn't use them. I wonder if that can get dialed down a bit, it's really too much!
