Lovely holiday
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, we had such a lovely time here as the room was so stunning as was the views. We had a swim up room which was amazing as we would recommend getting one if you can as it was just luxury. It was rather cold so we only went in once but still worth it for the view. Food was lovely, not sure what everyone was complaining about as there was lots of choice for everyone and it was delicious. I imagine it gets quite repetitive if staying for 2 weeks but we didn't have a problem. Coffee was very nice from the coffee bar. Cocktails were bad, possibly the only thing letting this hotel down, we tried every single one of the cocktails and they were all horrible. In the end we asked for one from the bar staff off the menu and it was amazing so we drank that for the rest of the holiday. Staff were polite and helped wherever they could, rooms were serviced every day. Lovely time had by all, evening entertainment did leave a lot to be desired, maybe live music that lasted a bit longer would be better.

The Staff Were Incredible, One Of Our Best Holidays!
Pros:

We had an amazing two weeks from the 15th of September this year. The minute we arrived, we were greeted by Zeljana and Mirela on reception who couldn't do any more to be so accommodating, so friendly and helpful. The room which had a direct Sea view was so modern and comfortable, we couldn't complain about the location or the comforts of the room and the hotel. The restaurants were very comfortable, the food choice was really amazing, we never got bored in two weeks of being there. There was fresh meat being cooked daily, lovely pizzas, freshly cooked eggs however you wanted them and great salads. There was so much choice, even the chips were amazing! The restaurant was headed up by Delroy the head chef who was absolutely incredible! My wife Jan has an intolerance to onion, he arranged for food to be cooked without onion and it was delicious. He always came over to say hello and have a chat as if we were the only guests there, he even came in on his time off to make sure guests were catered for and happy. An amazing chap with an amazing work ethic. Working in the restaurants were Marianna/Mariana (sorry not quite remembering how her name was spelt) she was so happy and friendly, as was her friend who worked alongside her. I will post some photographs so you know who we are talking about. Such a happy team who did a great job and made our holiday really special. What do we stay here again? Definitely! Was there anything that needed to be improved? Yes, the white party was not a party, that was the only let down. The gym was in desperate need of an update, the Tui hotel along the beach had what seemed to be a brand-new gym with a concept 2 rowing machine! In The Adriatic Beach, one of the rowers was broken, the other was just about usable but not the best bit of kit. My recommendation if you are to refit the gym is to get no other rowing machine other than a concept 2, they are bullet proof! The silent disco was great fun, the coffee bar was also great to have. We felt the holiday was good value for money. Our friends Keith and Linda have also reviewed, they were with us for the first week and they also both thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and the hotel. We stayed in room 4102 and our names are Barry and Jan for the record! Thank you all for making our holiday special, we holiday with Tui at least twice a year and I would say that this was one of our best Holiday experiences.

The best hotel I've been to
Pros:

The best holiday I've ever had. I loved every minute of it.
I booked this hotel as a surprise 30th birthday present for my partner and so opted for the sea view room with large balcony. On arrival to the hotel the transfer took a very long time and we were sat on the coach for over an hour before we head off to our hotel which then was another 2 hours ish. Obviously no fault of the hotel but just wanted to mention because as soon as we got to the hotel all that stress was immediately vanished away. We got to the hotel quite late and we hadn't eaten anything since lunch time. The hotel went out their way and made up sandwiches in our hotel room for our arrival which was so thoughtful of them.
The morning after, opened the curtains and saw just how close the sea and beach was from our room - so much so that opening the balcony door we could hear the waves of the sea. Absolute bliss!

The time we spent around the hotel was amazing, pool is lovely to swim in and not too overwhelmingly big but also a good enough size to swim lengths in. We were able to get sunbeds pretty easily which had a bar by the pool for your all inclusive drinks. They were lush!

Highly recommend the pizza restaurant along the promenade of our hotel, absolutely delicious pizzas where you can sit in the shade but also enjoy the views of the sea.

Staff were super friendly, with the reps accessible very often to help book excursions. We did 3 - definitely recommend; Krka Waterfalls, Omis and Makarska town.

All in all we just had the best time and we were so sad when we had to leave.

Lovely views but it ends there.
Pros:

Stayed at this hotel in September with my partner we had paid for an upgraded room to a junior suite partial sea view it was such a dissapointment the balcony was not looking out to the sea but instead it was level with a roof and solar panals so the balcony was not used the sea view was through a closed window.
The room itself was clean and towels changed everyday the only issue we had was the duvet was to small for the bed.
The views from the hotel are breath taking and the coffee dock in reception was really good they are the only positives I can find.
The pool was ok but the snack bar that was opened for lunch from 12- 2 only served popcorn, wraps and dry sandwiches if you wanted something hot you had to go back upstairs to the main buffet which is a pain. The pool area itself was not very clean there was alot of dirt on the floor. People are also allowed to smoke at the pool area which I found bad as the sunbeds are close together.
The food in the buffet was not good at all and the hygeine of some of the cooks was not ok I went to get some fried eggs one of the morings and the lady was scraping the grease and bits of old egg off with a spatula then proceeded to use the same one to turn eggs over with. The food was tasteless and very repetitive.
We ate in the restaurant on one of the nights as it was part of the deal the meal was cold and missing items when we asked for it we were told they had no chips left bt never offered potatoes or veg instead so glad we didn't pay extra for this meal.
The cocktails are so bad and the staff at the mojito bar really don't want to be there cocktails are from a machine and the staff just throw the lime and mint into a glass and fill it they don't even bother to juice the lime. This is not a cheap hotel to stay in by any means and for a Tui Blue hotel it really needs to step up to the mark.

Some Positives including staff and location
Pros:

I'm going to try to be positive and honest about our recent week at the tui adriatic beach hotel,
I don't really understand how other reviews are so bad as on the whole we had a lovely time,
Positives =
Beautiful location
Lovely staff
Clean and well maintained rooms
Not so positive =
Food was adequate, breakfast was good, but evening was a mix of being repetitive and not very hot, although the salad bar and pizza was good and the Desserts were great, also the snacks available were very disappointing just cold wraps or basic sandwiches
We eat in the cullinarium one night and although the service and ambience was lovely the food was just average, I paid extra to have a steak and it was just average my husband had to ask for two Desserts as his main course of salmon was so small,
Entertainment was really not great if you like evening entertainment it's really just a singer in the corner of the overcrowded lounge, we were in bed most nights by 9.30 because we felt there was nothing else to do, (not necessarily a bad thing when you have a busy life at home)
We paid to visit the spa which was really lovely but a nice place to relax after our treatments would of been nice rather than just straight back to reception.
All in all we did have a great holiday but would I return to this hotel probably not but we really loved Croatia and will definitely return.

A good hotel, but good be a lot better with a few tweaks…
Pros:

My partner and I have just returned having spent 11 nights at the Adriatic. On the whole we had a lovely time, however there are simple improvements which could be made. Here is an honest review. I would score 3 1/2 but unable to do so:

Location:

If your wanting a relaxing sit by the sea / pool type of holiday, there can’t be anywhere as relaxing as here. The scenery is beautiful, the sea clear with views to die for. However please bear in mind you are very isolated, with limited public transport or taxis. The taxi refuse to pick up due to the location. However this didn’t affect our stay walking to Dvenik and catching the ferry to Hvar. However be warned 2/3 miles is on a main road and we were lucky enough to get a lift back by a kind waitress later in the day.

Staff:

Initially I found the staff to be approachable and pleasant especially on our arrival. A special mention to TJ Michael from the bar for making the fake Malibu cocktails and also Anna in the restaurant who was always very pleasant, smiling and happy to see us.

However I did find some staff rather rude. It felt like a chore serving us at the bar or restaurant. I found Anna on the bar to be rude, lacking customer service or even smiling at customers.

Whilst on holiday we did make a complaint to Nancy TUI rep. This was in relation to the food as we thought the evening meals on the whole were very average with no live cooking station, the lack of customer service & many activities being cancelled, which was frustrating. Nancy took my email address and stated she would respond directly to me. I waited 3 days with no response and saw her on the 4th day. She said ‘has no one been in touch’, again promised my partner and I an update. On the 5 day she walked to the bar and blatantly just ignored us.

I found this service to be inadequate and rather disappointing for a TUI representative.

Food:

There was always something to eat, however the live cooking stations were mainly just dried meat with a sauce, in my opinion just lacked any quality or thought from the chef. We found the breakfast to be the best meal of the day, which in my opinion is the easiest to satisfy customers, followed by lunch then the evening meal. On occasions the main chef would appear walking around the stations and the food station, however I would have really appreciated some better quality food with more seasoning/ taste. I did note towards the end of our holiday there was a front of house member of staff, this was something we had mentioned to Nancy. I do feel been greeted as you walk to have your evening meal and checking on staffs customer service to be important. One evening we observed a member of the waiting staff on his phone 4/5 times in a 20 minute period, whilst tables were dirty and customer were waiting to be seated. Again this is a very easy improvement which could be made. On an evening we usually just had pasta and salad. I would say the deserts were pretty decent though.

Pool / Sea:

We mainly spent our time by the sea, which was so relaxing hearing the waves. Beach shoes are a must as it’s very rocky. The sun beds which are free are unfortunately impeded by trees and outside the hotel are payable sun loungers. However I believe this won’t be an issue next year. We did however find a way round this, should it be the same issue next year. I moved a few sun loungers on to the peninsular which we didn’t get charged for. I thought the pool area was fine, I couldn’t see any broken tiles as previously suggested. It seemed relatively relaxed. The pool bar to the beach is a 30 second walk, so no issues getting a drink.

Activities:

There was a real lack of activities during our stay, with the casino night and white night being cancelled. During the day there is a pool aerobics session and yoga I believe. The yoga area is slightly away from the main hotel and it looks rather dilapidated where it’s situated on the football court. There is usually a live singer on an evening, some of which are good.

Rooms:

We booked a superior room which I thought was fine. The interior could have done with a paint & the balcony door was drafty, especially during the wind storm. This was reported to the reception and unfortunately the maintenance person needed to get a contractor to attend. Due to this we just got an extra duvet, however the noise from the storm was very loud. The pillows were very thin and unsupporting. The mini fridge was an added bonus we just collected a few bottles of water from the bar each day.

Grounds:

I found the hotel to be clean and tidy, staff worked hard to maintain the grounds maintenance. The steps were not an issue & in my opinion was a good way to do a bit of exercise. However for elderly people or people with mobility issues I would say this would be a problem.

Gym:

The gym has all weights needed, however relatively small and could only cater for approx 4/6 people due to the space and lack of equipment.

Overall:

We loved Croatia, the scenery is like nothing else I have seen, we met some lovely people and had a relaxing holiday, just what we needed. However the service from staff, the food and drinks really need to be improved. The coffee bar is very small and you have to pay for all premium drinks. The soft drinks were also poor and the snack bar is not advertised with only minimal cakes, sandwiches and pop corn.

Would I return, not sure if improvements were made yes, however the hotel is rather inaccessible with transport a real issue and the lack of trips from the hotel which don’t cost the earth. We did manage to get a boat trip to Brac / Hvar which we booked through an operator on the beach. This was 55€ with drinks and basic food. You can walk to Igrane which has a few restaurants and also Blato in the opposite direction.

Please be mindful that we noticed the season ends in Mid - late September with everything closing, so please consider before booking.

Ignore the negative comments!
Pros:

My husband and I have just returned from a week’s stay at this hotel. I can honestly say to anyone considering it, please don’t take notice of any negative comments! In our opinion it is a great hotel.
Yes, there are a lot of steps and the transfer from Split airport was about 2½ hours. But we knew this before we left.
We upgraded to a swim-up room which was absolutely amazing. The room was lovely and clean and was cleaned and towels replaced every day. Yes, the sun didn’t appear on our balcony until the afternoon but we spent the earlier part of the day round the pool. Sunbeds were plentiful, although quite close together but fine nonetheless.
The view is to die for, especially the sunsets in an evening.
The hotel in general was very clean and cleaning was very obviously being done for most of the day.
The lounge area was very good, we spent a lot of time there as we were unlucky enough to encounter 3 days of storms, 2 of which were down to a Croatian Bura storm. It was extremely windy but watching this all evolve from the lounge windows was amazing, seeing the water spouts in the sea too. Unfortunately this meant that the outside terraces were closed off for safety reasons. On our last night, the winds were the worst and the screen from our balcony was ripped off and the canvas tops from the pool bar and tents were ripped and blown away. We had bits of roof and sun loungers in our swim up area too. There was a lot of damage all over. During this time though, the maintenance, cleaning staff, and bar staff were very efficient and on hand at all times and service was very good.
There was a lot of top shelf premium alcohol that incurred an additional cost, which to be fair we didn’t have as the AI drinks were fine and plentiful. There were lots of cocktails, but not all of them available on AI. The pool bar was ok, in some of the cocktails they tried to serve just fruit juice and missed out the alcohol element, so watch out for that! It happened to us a few times. The only ‘snacks’ we found at the pool bar was popcorn, nothing else.
In the restaurant, we found the service and food excellent. Yes, you can’t get away from repetition in AI, the basics fish, pork, chicken, salads, pizza fruit, cheeses and vegetables were the basis of most meals. However there were some lovely dishes available and the salad bar was always full of many different salads. The dessert bar was something else and absolutely amazing cakes and desserts were available. The only downside to this was we felt there should have been some custard, or creams of some sort, which there weren’t. Breakfasts were lovely, we often had pancakes, French toast, scrambled egg, bacon and toast. Only negative here were the pastries, most of them were savoury or just plain croissants. Not the usual type of pastries we would expect. All food was hot and replenished very quickly.
The staff were very attentive and never left you with an empty glass for long and the clearing of used plates and tables was very quick.
The entertainment was just OK. We did struggle to get a good seat every night. As has already been said, the “The White Party” evening, wasn’t very good, very few people dressed in white and it definitely missed the party vibe. However Nancy tried her best to engage people. The Quiz night was very good, again done by Nancy. The musicians and singers on the other evenings, were ok. Just listenable to but nothing fantastic.
The beach is superb and so close to the hotel. Definitely bring water shoes as the beach isn’t really sandy, quite pebbly and the sea is very rocky. But beautiful clear water and was actually warmer than the pool.
The pool was very cold, but once you were in, it was ok. It was cleaned every morning as we observed from our room. The ice lolly/ice cream freezer wasn’t stocked very well and you have to pay for anything.
Thea’s coffee bar was in a great place in the lounge, but again and quite disappointingly you had to pay for coffees etc. although alcohol was AI.
We didn’t try the restaurant as we found the menu quite limiting and boring and resented having to pay for bottles of wine! In the restaurant and bars, the prosecco, beer and red wine were very nice, we didn’t try white and had rose on an occasion but it was too dry for us.
We did a day trip to Split and Trogir. It was expensive and we left at 8am and arrived back at 8pm. Far too long a day. The Split part of the trip was lovely, Vincento, our guide was fabulous and very obviously passionate about Split. But the tour took too long and we ended up with just over an hour to ourselves, which wasn’t enough. The 2nd part of the trip to Trogir was preceded by a stop at a rundown Mill for some food. It was just bread and cheese and wine. Not at all good and took unnecessary time out of the day . Again we only got about 1 hour to ourselves in Trogir. This trip should be done individually not as a 1 day trip. Very disappointing and tiring.
On the whole though, we had an amazing time in spite of the 3 days of storms. Luckily we had 4 beautiful hot sunny days which made up for it. We were very chilled and ate and drank far too much, but that’s what holidays are for. I don’t think we would come to this hotel again but the whole TUI process and staff, from the airport in the UK, in the hotel and back was very good.

Could do better
Pros:

We stayed here in 2022 & it was pure heaven. The food was fantastic, lots of choice & always hot, very clean rooms etc.
However, fast forward 3 years & the difference is huge, the food has definitely declined, same things nearly every day, some of it not very hot, certain drinks were to pay for & there was no longer a mini bar included with the junior suite.
The games area was in need of some TLC,the pool table was propped up at one end with books.
The day beds were dirty & in very poor condition & the charge for sunbeds on the beach was a bit high, especially when they were free before.

Once again, TUI are putting prices up & reducing what is on offer. I am very disappointed,All inclusive should mean just that, but unfortunately, it doesn't anymore.

Really nice stay but easily could be so much better
Pros:

Firstly some of the 1 star reviews I have read are so untrue they either are looking for a refund or didn't stay at the same hotel as us, we talked to many people and 99% rally liked the hotel.
The positives:-
View to die for, Fabulous walks and scenery, our room was spotless and cleaned every day, reception always very helpful, Bar staff very efficient, waiters at food service always nice and fetched our drinks quickly even when very busy, food was very good for a fully inclusive could always find lots thing we liked, everywhere clean, Drinks could have been better but again always found something nice like prossecco, wine and beer excellent, beutiful sunsets, no loud music calming laid back atmosphere and nice beach.
Negatives for us:-
We only like the beach and good spot in the sun with an umbrella and two sunbeds 30€ a day but after 2pm no one collects the money, the most expensive we have ever had in over 50 years travelling abroad.
Would have been really nice to have a drinks waiter service in certain areas.
The music in the beutiful sun deck lounge was awful for us.
Unless you have a car the day trips are bit to long.
Lots of steps but we knew that so it didn't bother us.
Snacks at pool bar we found very poor.
If the sunbeds on the beach were free or much cheaper, better snacks and nice cups of coffee available at pool/beach bar we would definitely return.
Overall we had a lovely holiday

A good Hotel, staff and fantastic location.
Pros:

We have just spent a week at the TUI Blu Adriatic Beach hotel and had a wonderful time. We came out with friends and with our paddle boards to do some exploring.

Firstly, the location is stunning. Some nice walks along the coast to Igrane or to Drvenik. It is spotlessly clean and the sea is warm and crystal clear..loved it.

The hotel is good. The staff are mostly superb, very helpful, very cheerful and many go out of their way to make your stay a great one. The lady who runs the beauty spa is an all-round lovely lady. Chatty, fun and helpful. The reception staff are fabulous and the restaurant staff too. The hotel s clean, has fabulous views across to HVAC island and watching the sunset from your balcony is magical. The hotel has a lot of steps. Not advised for people with mobility issues. I used the steps daily to run up and down and ran the local area too before going to the gym to do some weights and then the steam room. Sadly the Sauna was out of order. I loved it at this hotel as did my fellow travellers

The food is ok to good. Cold at times and sometimes there was a poor choice of hot food but, what we did have was lovely. I enjoyed the salad bar and selection of cheeses followed by loads of fresh fruit. Breakfast is ace. The staff never leave your drinks empty for long.

The entertainment was just OK. We struggled to get a seat every night. I’d have to go around and pick up random spare chairs and make us a place to sit. The pool bar staff are fantastic and the snacks there are great. The staff in the mojito bar are mostly happy and eager to serve but, one lad there was miserable every day and took no care over making your drinks.

The beach is superb and location brilliant if you like things quiet.

We fell in love with Croatia and the Croatian people. We’ll definitely be back and we would stay at this hotel again.

The good reviews must have been bribed !
Pros:

Pretty bad. Of all the Tui blue’s I have stayed at this is the actual worst. The views and scenery kind of make it better but it’s 2025 and things should be a lot better here. We paid for an upgraded room which had beautiful scenery and was kept very clean. Drinks weren’t good, neither was the food apart from the restaurant you can use once while you stay here. I think I’d have paid to eat there every night to be honest rather than eat in the all you can eat. Plates were always dirty, not very good variety or any theme for meals, I’d say it was more like an old people’s home menu, just mush and bland. Some staff were friendly some were just ignorant. I definitely wouldn’t recommend or return. I also would say we have came very late in the season and the hotel is far from anything else we would have eaten out most nights. Tui and management need to sort it out ! Actually has put me off using Tui. I’ve also never stayed at a Tui blue where you have to pay for certain cocktails or coffees, I know times are hard but the price we pay doesn’t get cheaper so why are you scrimping on things??

Horroble experience , avoid this factory, we booked for 7 nights and left after one night, lost 1800 eur
Pros:

A Disappointing Stay in a "Swim-up Suite" Hotel
I booked a junior suite swim-up for one week for €1800 for two people. Based on the positive reviews and the presentation on the website, it looked stunning. Unfortunately, the reality proved to be a major disappointment.

Poor Arrival and Dirty Suite

Upon arrival by car, loaded with luggage after a week of traveling, we were completely ignored by the three front-desk employees. They saw us struggling with our suitcases but offered no assistance whatsoever.

Although the suite itself offered an amazing view of the Adriatic, it was poorly cleaned. We found a thick layer of dust on the television, cobwebs in the corners of the room, the swim-up pool was full of plant leaves, and the glass bathroom door was dirty.

Lack of Service and Inflexible Policy

As suite guests, we received a bottle of complimentary red wine. When I asked the reception if this could be exchanged for white wine, as we don't drink red, I was met with a blunt "NO, hotel policy."

Furthermore, it is incomprehensible that you have to scan QR codes everywhere, even to order simple things like slippers. This should be a standard amenity in a suite at this price! Scanning QR codes for everything feels so impersonal and accurately reflects the hotel atmosphere: the less the staff is disturbed by the guests, the better.

The service throughout the entire hotel is non-existent. As a travel agent with 35 years of experience who has visited hotels in all categories worldwide, I find this a disgrace. Hotel guests are ignored here instead of being the focus.

Unpleasant Bar Staff and Unhygienic Conditions

The bar staff is unprofessional and unfriendly. You have to queue for a drink, and they shout "NEXT" as if you were in a factory hall. You feel like a nuisance rather than a valued guest.

The drink menus are sticky and utterly disgusting. The fact that the procedure for complaint handling is printed on the back of every menu already speaks volumes about the expected service.

The cocktails were undrinkable. While I understand that in an all-inclusive package the alcohol is local and not premium, the preparation should be professional. They clearly just throw some ingredients together and push a foul mix to you in two seconds.

Dirty Cutlery and Unhappy Staff

We only had dinner and breakfast once. At dinner, we picked up three different plates and soup bowls, but they were still dirty and covered with food residue. This instantly killed our appetite.

The breakfast looked fine in terms of selection, but the staff clearing the tables walked around with visibly unhappy faces.

Early Departure

The same evening we arrived, we booked another hotel and left the next morning. We lost €1800, but we would not stay a minute longer in this horrible factory hotel. It is a discredit to the hospitality industry that this staff works in service. Avoid this hotel!

Pros:

Not brilliant
Pros:

The hotel changed for the worse from 2022 and 2023 its like the are making cut back, dont get me wrong staff and rooms perfect apart from you have no soft drinks or beer in fridge and after day one you need to collect your own water, no free sunbeds on beech unless you wanna sunbathe in the shade and it smelt down there ,very cramped around the pool not a 4 star hotel ,food was ok quite shabby around the pool , so I won't be going there again shame because a few years back it was a nice place.

Not a 4* hotel
Pros:

This is NOT a 4* hotel...
We travel twice a year with Tui and this has to be the worse hotel experience we have had. I will give an honest review of our stay at this hotel and then you can decide for yourself if you would like to book.
On arrival we were underwhelmed with the appearance of the outside of the hotel and the greeting from the reception staff.
I can only think of 4 members of staff that are worthy of a mention, the rest are miserable, unhelpful and lazy. They appear to be too occupied on their mobile phones!!
The interior decor of the hotel is a mismatch of tired furniture with none of the finer decorations we are used to in a TUI Blue hotel.
The staff seemed to be disinterested in any customer service, no smiles no greetings.
The outdoor terrace in the restaurant is dire and has the feel of a tired canteen with old, dirty, stained furniture.
The restaurant tables are not cleared with dirty plates gathering while we ate our food and no top up of drinks offered during our meals. The food is repetitive but adequate with a poor selection of fresh fruit.
No waiters offering drinks from the bar during the evening which is what we have come to expect from a 4* Tui hotel.
The pool area is tired with loose patio stones.
The beach is nice, but disappointing to have to pay to use the sun-loungers.
The towels in the bathroom resemble a thin tea towel and the room was underwhelming with no full length mirror.

Wonderful Holiday
Pros:

We had the most wonderful time at the Adriatic hotel. The scene was set as soon as we arrived with a welcome drink and very friendly reception staff. Our room was outstanding with the most wonderful views. The hotel was so clean. The restaurant food was delicious, something for everyone. A big thank you to chef Delroy who looked after us so well and all the restaurant staff especially Marianna who was so lovely .
Our only complaint was the “The White Party” evening, which lacked a party vibe and the music was not dancing music. Couldn’t fault this beautiful hotel, definitely come back again and will highly recommend..Thank you everyone

Beautiful Croatia
Pros:

I don't like being a negative Nelly so I shall add some positives.
The location is lovely, the views are amazing absolutely stunning, Croatia is a beautiful country.cocktails we're decent and entertainment was ok if you'd only seen it once but we were there for two weeks so we saw all the acts three times....
All staff, and all staff Barr ,one young lady who worked hard and attended to us evenings mostly ,the rest ,im sorry were lazy and need to put a smile on their faces ,instead of making the visitors feel like they were being a nuisance.dont even get me started on the waiter staff in restaurant, not a la carte, slow, and I mean slow, tables need clearing it's busy, stood around having a look on their mobile phones, ignoring tables and prioritising, wrongly, completely.seemed no one to oversee and organise them, they were not professional and too laid back. And what is it with paper napkins in the evening, never had that.im not going to go on an on but this has been the most expensive holiday we've had,we came here 9 years ago and it was spot on and that's why I persuaded my family to come back ,wish I hadn't, sorry.its marred my first memory of Croatia. The TUI reps were something of nothing,on the fourth day my husband loves playing the boules, the young lady handed him the equipment and said there you are,she disappeared, there was a new influx of visitors and my husband had to show them how to play.no offence but he's not an employee of TUI .Hardly saw them all two weeks, off times but don't go round chatting to people, only ever really saw them eating their tea in the restaurant.Other people we chatted to all said the same.diabolical.
TUI trips, you asked more information to be told that it's on the paper printout you have ,so I certainly got the feeling they hadn't done the trips.the two island hvar brac boat trip do not do..

10 hours trip,6 hours on a boat and literally a quick visit on island.not worth the money .dumped on islands no talk through about anything left to your own devices.i said to fellow visitors so what you learnt about Croatia then... everyone said absolutely nothing.
I do recommend the electric tut tut up the mountain to the skywalk though.the drivers were absolutely fabulous and we learnt more from them and our friendly taxi driver,Ivan, than anyone.
Weather was perfect
Housekeeping is poor, some people didn't have their sheets changed in a ten day holiday.
Food in restaurant same everyday,I lived on omelette and cheese and crackers and I'll eat anything.one tip cooks, you're too heavy on the salt.
Makarska is lovely place, recommend the riva restaurant.Dubrovonik is a beautiful city and recommend hvar iced coffee, cafe straight off the boat ,the best I've had.
The reception staff need a lesson on people skills as well, when asked why you don't answer reception phone to be told we are busy you know.o yes four of you stood stood around in the Aircon
I'll end on a positive,we met other lovely visitors there which made our holiday
A tip , Adriatic....take a tip from Morocco and Tunisian hotels how they treat their guests.just really disappointed and I don't want to be

Ants in the room
Pros:

We arrived late the first night and the staff had left some sandwiches in the room for us. A nice thought, however, the plate was crawling with ants, they were all over the food and all over the desk and floor near it. We went to tell reception and he sent the housekeepers up to sort it. When we returned, there were still a few but they had no other rooms and they weren't near the bed so we just put up with it.
We kept having the same issues, and they would just send housekeeping to spray them. We put the rug outside as we noticed some on that as well.
On the 4th day they were crawling on our clothing so my partner went to tell reception for a 3rd time.
They were quite reluctant to help us, their response was that "we leave tomorrow" - basically they didnt care that the room is crawling with ants.
We are on the 3rd floor how are there ants here anyway?
Wouldn't recommend and 100% would not return
