Nice setting, excellent breakfast

Our stay at Rukka was really great. It is a sweet little property that has made some good updates since our last visit. The people working there are very friendly as well. The only thing was the delay in a few things regarding waiting for food/change at the restaurants. Would recommend this place. Looking forward to returning here with our kids.

No habia nadie en la rececpion ni a las 8 pm al llegar, ni a las 8 am al salir. El guardia entregaba y recibia la llave. La ubicacion es bonita, pero es una pena que no aprovechan el hecho de que no hay un hotel de buen nivel en Cumbaya/Tumbaco.

This is the worst property to stay in Quito area. No front desk, dog barking all night, guard had to open our room each night we stayed because they didnt have a key for the room for us, no heater in freezing cold rooms, and finally no water service last night when we decided to move to other hotel.

The property is small but nice. The check in was bad because there was no staff member at around 7pm. The guard didn't know we were coming and it took a few minutes to clear things up. The swimming pool was covered up and not usable. The breakfast was excellent at one of the three posh restaurants in the larger complex.

This place was just OK. No reception, security person was the only contact. Noisy for a while since there are 2 restaurants close by. We requested 2 rooms with 2 beds but we got a queen and a bunk bed. We'll try other places next time.

Very good service. My flight was late (2am instead). They answer right away and they brought us to our room directly and they took care of everything. Yes WoW

Beautiful, convenient, great service, breakfast was so wonderful. The staff everywhere were so nice. Definitely going back. My only suggestions to any early riser Is plan for coffee. The breakfast didn’t open until 9am. I’m up at 6am and that’sa long time to wait. We got instant to keep in there room

We spent two nights. One reason we chose Rukka Lodge was its quiet location, away from all the hustle and bustle of Quito.
Rustic, spacious and clean rooms. Two restaurants on the premesis. Very secure and safe location.
Would recommend a fluent Spanish speaker with your party. I speak 3 on a 10 scale, and the staff on duty about the same for English. We managed to communicate adequately but with difficulty.

An oasis in Tumbaco. We were visiting our daughter, who is studying abroad in Quito and chose this spot which was closer to the University. What a little gem. Behind private gates, a quaint little place with wooden beam ceilings and rustic wooden accents. Very comfortable accommodations. Clean and updated. The area is very quiet and beautiful plants surround the property. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. Bread is baked fresh each day. Several restaurants are on the property to satisfy even the most picky eater in your group. A wonderful place to stay.

Great location, close to the airport and to the city, but is also secluded and quiet, with a relaxing getaway vibe. Breakfast was very good and the manager was very helpful in every way

We loved our stay at Rukka Lodge! The minute we stepped off the street and through the gate we were impressed. The gardens and grounds are lovely, the room was charming, clean, and comfortable. All the staff with whom we dealt were super helpful and friendly. There are several nice restaurants on the grounds, so all of our needs were met. We would definitely stay at Rukka Lodge again!

we purposely picked a hotel not far away from the airport to avoid traffic congestion for the next day departure. Rukka Lodge is an ideal place for a stop over. There are several restaurants within the fenced off area which offer different choices of food. We did enjoy both the lunch and dinner thereat.
As far as the accommodation is concerned, the room is spacious and tidy, wifi signal is strong and the surrounding area is quite and tranquil.

Great resort! Clean and beautiful
