Pros:

Great, clean and comfortable hotel. Wonderful view over the river to Spain. Great value. The food and wine available were excellent. Extremely helpful staff.

Location and views are wonderful next to the river. Facilities are decent though a bit outdated. The place could have lots of potential if it was correctly managed and run.

Cons:

On three different occasions/ stays (different times of the year) we have realized that (all) the staff seems to have no understanding or training regarding simple service and customer care. Both reception, cleaning and “restaurant” staff seem like almost annoyed when customers “disturb” them. You get the feeling that they have absolutely no hospitality training for their jobs, which is sad because it could be such a wonderful place with correct management and staffing. Excelente ponto de apoio para caminhantes das rotas pedestres.
Pros:

O serviço e os funcionários foram muito funcionais e prestáveis. Boa localização e bom pequeno almoço.

Cons:

O isolamento acústico dos quartos é muito mau. Ouvem-se os outros hóspedes e o exterior como se estivessem no nosso quarto. O acesso ao quarto por cartão tem uma segurança muito frágil. Alguém conseguiu abrir-nos a porta ao princípio da noite. Embora tenha sido por engano (cremos), aconteceu. Também podemos trancar a porta com o trinco, mas não esperava que isso fosse possível.
