...
I not recomend. I do not have a good word for this hotel.
In the "fountain" in front of the hotel, the fish in this toilet are vegetating full of garbage....
The condition of the toilet in the freshly cleaned room was an imposition.... (Probably not the remains of the last inhabitants...) in the beds, even after the "room cleaning" foreign hair and dirt.... In the shower the dirt was unchanged for 4 days, despite daily cleaning. Thermal water cooler than in recent years.... All in all, the last few years have gotten worse and worse. Hygienic conditions did not meet our expectations... We won't be coming anymore.
Sehr freundliche und saubere Therme
We spent 4 nights in Vivat hotel on a half board basis, and used their swimming and sauna facilities. We had a DeLux room, and it was ok. The room was apparently newly renovated, comfortable and with a nice view to the outside swimming pool. Swimming pools, both inner and outer, are of the remarkable size, but they get crowded anyway. Adult part of the inner swimming pools is quiet. The best part of the facilities is the "World of saunas". It is extremely well designed to provide sense of quietness and privacy, while being of a considerable size. We liked this part the most. The food is average and could use some improvement.
Old east-european style SPA hotel. Ok, but a some renovations in the pool-area would be nice.
It was OK. Just the first room they gave us was so old and smelly, like smokers lives on inside. They gave us same room on floor deeper, but renovated.
There was a parfum in the air condition, bad for people with allergy, caused headache. And the worst for me was that the spa closed at 8pm. On Friday and Saturday. So what to do after dinner? Restaurant was great, nice food and people. The spa is also very giid
We stayed here three nights, arriving on a Thursday. The breakfast and dinner choice decreased gradually, e.g. the Friday morning there were muesli, bottled dairy products (kefir, buttermilk), and three stations on the spot were producing fresh egg dishes etc. However, on the second and third morning these services became reduced ,and the buffet got smaller. Morning drinks: the coffee is poor, and there is no black tea offer. Dinner: same tendency, e.g. six different cold starters on the first night, and only two on the last. Quantity OK, enough options for meat and side dish, but without a real vegetarian option (only pasta and salad, sometimes steamed vegetable).
The room is comfortable, well-maintained, although the air con may not be enough on a really hot summer day (service seems overburdened) .
Pools were nice, we loved the "famous" ,superhot black water, and appreciated that those part of the building are only for adults. Outside there are enough sunchairs, even though there are local people visiting there.
Beside bathing, however, there are no activities offered either in the hotel or around, and its vicinity is - sorry, but - boring (except a nice medieval church).
The hotel staff are nice, friendly, helpful, German and English are mostly spoken, and special thanks go to the Thai massage: it is a really cosy and beautiful spot and the ladies are really professional.
We came early in the morning and left after two hours, because it was disgusting.
Majority of thermal pool users were elderly people. Not a single one of them showered before entering pools. Ladies with make up and gents with deodorants...... And noone is checking that.
Tolles Hotel 👍👍
We really liked the pools, especially because the water is very warm and you can stay in as long as you like without getting cold. Also the pool area and toilette are very clean which is a plus. But we were disappointed about cleanliness of the apartment because it was cleaned only superficially (e.g. dusty radiators, dirt on shower floor, on the edge of the sink, around the faucet,..).
The hotel itself is really nice. The staff kind, pools and rooms clean, the nature around it beautiful. The brekfast and dinner buffets are amazing. But all of it is kind of in the shade of the big expense. The completely same experience that I had here before Covid was almost twice cheaper. And I would completely understand if they had made any improvements but there were none at all so I kindof felt cheated as if I supported their price gouging.
the service on the hotel terrace is terrible. It took 25 minutes to order. it took another 10 minutes for the drinks to be served. the iced coffee ordered was without ice cream. when a complaint was made, the attitude of the staff was arrogant. they don't see me in this bar anymore
Great food, great pool, nice weekend. Prekmurje is not the closest destination, however travelling to stajerska is always better than primorska in terms of traffic. Hotel is very good for the price. A lot of food is cooked by the staff so it is fresh and good quality. Special thanks goes to breakfast staff who really work hard in order to make your stay pleasant. Prekmurje corner is always good to check out. Pools are excellent. Only complain would be, massage waterfalls could go off a bit more often, but this is really minor... Prekmurje is a nice region, in the evening it is a bit more dull than primorska, but also less crowded and more peacefull. They did charge me for the robe on the last day, that what i really didnt like 😀
We were 3 adults staying in a suite for 2 nights. The common areas look nice, ok size and modern. The place felt clean and the stuff was friendly.
The room was spacious but nothing memorable regarding the design. The hotel suppose to be 4 start yet:
- no international plug ins
- no bottled water, coffee or tea bags (for the price I expected a coffee machine)
- no facial tissue paper
- toiletries consisting on a single bottle (all in one body wash) and a shower cap
- there was phone, yet no number to call the reception
- the QR codes to check for more information didnt work (so no food menu, TV channels, basically no information was in the room)
The additional bed was pull out sofa which was very hard and quite uncomfortable to sleep in.
The bathroom design didnt make much sense and there was not enough space to put the wet towels and swimming suite for 3 people.
The swimming area was big, with multiple pools having different water temperature and I would say pleasant. The changing area:
- many of the lockers didnt seem to work (+ no instructions on how to use it)
- no dryer/centrifuge for swimming suits (which I found it quite outrages) and the lady at the reception wasnt quite sure if they put it back after Covid19.
The breakfast (included in the price) I would say was 4 star hotel appropriate (good selection + area with fresh order to make egg dishes).
One adult Slovene "tourist voucher" for one night is heavily overpriced for the hotel + Moravske Toplice is not a top (Slovene) tourist destination. I think less than half of the price we paid would be appropriate for the hotel/location / night. The stay might be the worst value for the money off all the hotels I have ever stayed in.
Spent a few nights at Terme Vivat and it was everything we hoped for. The room was big and comfortable, the bed was perfect. The room comes equipped with a mini fridge.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing, very large selection for breakfast and dinner. My partner is allergic to lactose and it wasn't a problem when she asked for something dairy free. They also offer local food, which is a nice touch.
The pools are just big and warm enough. There's enough space and it doesn't get too crowded. We also tried the stress free massage and both masseuses were extremely professional.
There's also lots to see in the surrounding area, and you can rent a bike and go exploring.
Very enjoyable stay in general.
We stayed there at a relatively busy time. The room was really nice. We actually had a bedroom and a living room, with tv etc. We loved it. We only had breakfast at the hotel, which was fantastic, with lots of local dishes. We explored the area during the day. Lots to see. The spa was nice, not particularly big with whirlpools. But what we found annoying was that little kids were diving despite the nondiving sign, splashing around, even in small whirlpools. None of the pools was for people who came to relax. It made it impossible to swim and we often found it difficult to find space in the whirpools also. But all in all, great stay.
We had a very pleasant and spacious room in one of the annexes of this hotel.
There was a pleasant terrace and the bathroom was good with a spacious shower.
Being in the annexe there was rather a long walk to the pools and hotel facilities which was a bit of a nuisance. There was a bare minimum of toiletries but the air conditioning worked well. The main downside was the food which was very ordinary and much of it pretty badly cooked. Chewy fish! dreadful lasagna and other pasta. Good salad bar on the other hand and many of the meat dishes looked ok but really not up to four star standard.
The pool area was quite good with plenty of chairs and a poolside cafe. The pools were quite roomy and they were in the process of building a new pool which is probably finished as I write. Unfortunately there are better hotels in Moravske Toplice.
The pools are good, as is the food. The hotel is great for a mini break from everyday life but does not deserve 4 * superior. The room was supposed to be the best in the whole hotel but in reality it was very very poor despite the high surcharge - duplex royal room. Take a look at the pictures.
