A Beautiful Lodge in Escalante, Utah
Pros:

My husband and I enjoyed our two night stay at Canyon County Lodge. The location was perfect. We had a beautiful, spacious, comfortable king room on the second floor. We enjoyed breakfast both mornings. The hotel was quiet and the staff was friendly.

A very nice facility we would stay there again.
Pros:

The facility and the room were very nice. There was half an hour's noise upstairs very late in the evening like 2:00 a.m. . Breakfast ok.

Good place to stay in Escalante
Pros:

Very comfortable; large rooms with place to sit; large bathrooms and showers ; very kind staff (front desk staff and breakfast staff who whips up the delicious buttermilk syrup.) Nice ambiance with a country lodge feel. We did not use the pool, but it was a used by families with kids. For dinner, there are limited options. I recommend 4th West pub which has great nachos, burgers and paninis and very friendly staff.

Cons:

Nothing we didn’t like except that there is no restaurant at the hotel and you have a short drive to get dinner.
Also, the doors to the room bang shut. Maybe a notice on the doors would help for people to hold the door to shut it so it does not bang loudly.

Pricing a little high. Breakfast pretty average... Hot item, Egg sausage mix, was really dry and bland.

Overall, pretty good
Pros:

The location is pretty good, just off the main road that runs through Escalante. The atmosphere was good in the lobby and in the room. The lobby and room were both clean. We had arrived earlier than the check-in time hoping to check in early, but nobody was in the lobby. When we got there later, there was a phone in which we were supposed to call to get service.
The room itself was very spacious which was nice. The AC unit in the room was not working very well and was quite noisy. The blinds covering the windows also weren’t very effective and blocking the light from the parking lot. There was also a strange smell in the room. Not a bad smell, just weird.
The complimentary breakfast was the worst I’ve had from a hotel. I wouldn’t recommend it if that’s something you’re looking at.
Overall though, the hotel was nice. I little too pricey in my opinion for the level of service and amenities, but I enjoyed my stay.
