Pros:

An exceptional hotel and beautifully maintained. We were initially drawn to staying here because it is the former residence of none other than Marcilio Ficino and it overlooks Florence. We were not disappointed as the Orangery Suite was superb! The decor, furniture and bathroom were all fantastic however the bed was next level - quite possibly the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in! Our only regret is that we booked just a one night stay.

The swimming pool was most welcome in the hot Tuscany weather and the staff were most welcoming and helpful in allowing us to arrive early and use the pool until our suite was ready which became available two hours before the official check-in time at no extra cost.

The target audience for the hotel is most likely the wedding/function market however for luxurious surroundings and a great restaurant overlooking the city I would recommend Villa le Fontanelle every time for a great location to unwind for couples and families alike. Just be mindful that there isn't much to do around the local area (we explored on foot) so if you're looking for a base camp for sightseeing in Florence itself then staying somewhere within the city first, like we did, is probably a good idea as taxi fares could easily mount up.

For sheer luxurious comfort and a great unwind then Villa le Fontanelle is the place.

Pros:

unterkunft und lage sind schön - leider hatte ich vergessen, dass wir in einem 3. welt-land sind und die leute geerbt haben und von der substanz leben. es gab kein (0 Zero) service und die leute die es führen haben keine ahnung vom hotel-business. es ist ein zimmer mit mini-bar und zugang zu einem pool - die terasse bei 38 grad nicht mal ein sonnenschirm. eine event-location aber ohne event ein airbnb für 420 chf die nacht … overpriced.

Creo que lo único que nos gustó, fue la vista desde la ubicación. Esta ubicada en una colina, fuera del centro de Florencia.

Cons:

No queda claro lo que es. Es una casa de 7 habitaciones convertida en hotel. Llegamos de noche y no encontrábamos ni siquiera la entrada. No tiene como tal un lobby. La habitación muy incomoda porque es de 2 pisos y cada piso es MUY chiquito. El baño es abajo, con unas escaleras muy pronunciadas. Si te gustan las villas antiguas italianas, podría gustarte. No era lo que buscábamos, ni en comodidad ni en experiencia.

L'emplacement, le site et la vue magnifiques. Les chambres très belles

Cons:

Le personnel pas chaleureux et peu nombreux. J'ai dû errer dans les couloirs en appelant dans le vide un soir à 18h alors qu'il n'y avait personne à la réception et que ma clé ne fonctionnait plus. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas à la hauteur.

Exactement ce que je voulais
Pros:

Le caractère du lieu majestueux, peu d echbres. Les autres très discrets. Personne à la piscine.
Un service d’excellence à la hauteur de nos attentes, on a pris soin de nous et répondu positivement à toutes nos demandes.
Finalement on s’est sentis quasi seuls avec un service +++ e dans un lieu d’exception.
On reviendra. C’est sur. Pourvu que rien ne change (sauf peut être la climatisation côté lit de la Tour qui ne fonctionnait pas très bien).

C’était magique.

Otelin dekorasyonu odaların genişliği ve kahvaltısı çok güzeldi

Cons:

Resepsiyona ilk kez ulaşamadık. Restoran aramak durumunda kaldım o şekilde ulaştım. Otelin restoranı aynı zamanda sanırım yerler arasında ünlü bir restoran o yüzden hafta sonları yoğunluk oluyor o yüzden anlayışla karşıladım.

Struttura esclusiva. Patrimonio Unesco. Abbiamo apprezzato gli arredi, il contesto e la pulizia degli ambienti.
Tranquillità e relax assoluto.
Cena esclusiva nel salone della Villa.
Un'esperienza davvero indimenticabile.

Cons:

Piccole incomprensioni con il personale che ha poca padronanza della lingua italiana. Ma risolte davvero prontamente!!!
P.s. consigliatissimo accordare il pianoforte della Cappella....
