Great location and reasonably priced, but small and airless rooms
Pros:

Conveniently located in the centre of Rugby. Parking was reasonably priced and close by. Accommodation was reasonably priced. Staff were helpful.

Cons:

The room was smaller than expected. The bed was not a full sized double and with it being against the wall in a small room, it felt quite claustrophobic and airless. We had an issue with the sink - the plug got stuck so the water would not drain. We were offered another room, but we chose to stay in the same room given the amount of luggage we had with us.

A one night stay in a single room, located close to Rigby school where I was attending a cricket match, perfect!
Pros:

Clean, plenty of room for a stay on my own.
Comfortable bed, Tv, kettle, hairdryer & a lovely shower.

Decent but could be a lot better
Pros:

Great location in centre of town. Clearly been a lovely hotel historically.

Cons:

Despite a renovation of rooms the public areas were very tired. Options for food and beverage were limited and basic. No AC. Sofa bed very uncomfortable

A top floor room during the summer was like a sauna, even with a fan, it was hard to sleep.
Very small bathroom, in a room called ‘executive’.

Our television didn’t work but as we needed an early start the next day it wasn’t problem. Then I forgot to tell the manager.

Overall fine and fair value for money
Pros:

The location was great, staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfy

Cons:

The single room didn’t have a full length mirror, or a mirror on the dressing table. Not ideal if you’re staying there for an event and dressing up.

Adequate for one and for one night.
Pros:

The bed was comfy. The bathroom was good.

It said it was a double room but it was a 4 ft bed against the wall. Okay for one but not a double.
