Great location and staff, but a mixed experience overall
Pros:

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great location, you can just walk out the door and experience the city and the sights. Breakfast was quite good.

Cons:

The room I had should be a storage room, not a guest room. I didn't sleep all night due to a noise outside the "window", maybe a billboard moving, I don't know. There was no real window, just an opening of light so high up that one could not see anything. The room was exceptionally small, almost claustrophobic. There was no real Norwegian bread for breakfast, just white bread.

A bit of luxury in a short stay
Pros:

We got an upgrade so we enjoyed the harbour view. Comfortable and in the centre of the city. We had a very early flight so the suggested getting as breakfast boxes for the airport. Highly recommended.

Disappointment at being relocated was compensated to some extent by helpful staff.

The staff were exceptional, friendly, informative

Cons:

Really noisy, big group booking there my first night who were noisy within the hotel and also noise from the street. I was moved from a different hotel and received an email the day of my stay to inform me. This hotel has many good points but really did not suit me. In my room curtain slightly falling off and main room light flickering

Great location, good value hotel in Bergen
Pros:

Very good location, 2 minute walk from harbour and a lovely breakfast. Bed was comfy and room very clean and quiet. I consider it a good priced room.

Cons:

No external window - internal window overlooking bar so couldn't open the window.
