Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Coffeyville by IHG

The receptionist, wh e n i tell u she was wonderful, so so so friendly, this young lady did her job so well. If I was rich, u would have gotten a wonderful gift. God bless her.FromPamela Brown

The building was clean and the host were nice

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past over the years since it first opened their doors, and until this most recent stay I have had nothing but wonderful reviews of it, which is sad just sad.

Let me start out with when I checked in...there was nobody at the front desk and I had to "ring" their little doorbell to get someone from the back office to come up and check me in. She assigned me a room on the 3rd floor as far away from the elevator as possible and I kept going back and "ringing" that bell because my key card would not unlock the door, even after she went up and reprogrammed the lock. She could have had me go with her to make sure that I could get into said room instead of having me walk back and forth from that room to the front desk a total of 4 times. I then asked for any room she had and it looked like she was upset that I asked that question but she did give me a room directly across from the King room I reserved and it was a double queen (which by this time was fine for me as I was hot, sweaty, and very tired).

The stay was OK and the breakfast was on par for Holiday Inn Express...it wasn't bad but I wouldn't give it an "Excellent" rating either.

Now, the check out was smooth as now you do not need the front desk if you have the IHG app on your phone, and I was pleasantly surprised to see my bill slipped under my door first thing in the morning (hotels stopped doing this several years ago) . When I checked my bill I noticed that they charged me taxes that I am not allowed to pay for since I am a government employee (and I even gave them my exemption for taxes forms). I waited until Monday, June 29th to call their manager and I called and called and called and called this hotel and NOBODY ever tried to pick up their phone even once in 6 back to back calls! Just like when I checked in...nobody seems to be working at this hotel or even cares about their guests. I can tell they do not even have a full time maintenance employee to fix doors, or even their swimming pool (which by the way has a sign that reads, "Closed Indefinitely"). They are so poorly staffed and the staff they have act like they do not care or you are not their main priority which is sad just sad.

Like I said this place used to be great.....not anymore!

There are 4 other hotels in this community that I will be staying at from now on.

How clean and politeness the staff was at tge front dest..

The breakfast was good - Mango slices, chocolate milk, oranges, Spunkmeyers cinnamon rolls! Lots of other options. Looked good when I got there a couple of hours after breakfast start time.

Location seemed a little desolate but not familiar with options in Coffeyville, KS. Was a stop on the way to somewhere else.

It was peaceful! It was clean.

Excellent breakfast. Room was very good.

Everything about this hotel stay was terrible. The bathroom wall surround had a huge crack. The toilet was cracked. The sink was cracked. The bathroom floor was dirty. The beds were terrible so broken down the breakfast if that’s what you wanna call it was right on par with the rest of this stay! Horrible.

Clean facility!

Large rooms, nice TV. programming wasn't very broad as far as selection of programs.

Best cloud mattress and bedding slept so well.
