From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.
The Langkawi Tourism Fee will be changed to RM10 per room, per day starting 1st January 2025 onwards in line with the Langkawi Municipal Council.
For key events, a charge of RM20 per night will apply. Key events include Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace (LIMA), Le Tour De Langkawi, Ironman, and Oceanman Malaysia.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. L’emplacement est exceptionnel offrant une magnifique vue sur la mer. La chambre était splendide, confortable et décorée avec goût. Le personnel est souriant et très attentionné. Un grand merci à Julien qui travaillait au restaurant l’Horizon pour son professionnalisme, sa gentillesse et son efficacité. Le petit-déjeuner était exceptionnel et les repas étaient excellents. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel.
Me gustó todo, no puedo ponerle un pero a nada, el hotel es excepcional, y el personal es, aun si cabe, mejor que las instalaciones, siempre estan dispuestos a ayudar y a complacer, con una gran sonrisa, todos y cada uno de ellos se desviven para que te estancia sea inolvidable, y lo consiguen con creces! Súper detallistas, todo con mucho mimo, son absolutamente maravillosos!

I recently stayed at the resort for 4 nights, and unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations due to a serious issue with the air conditioning in my room.
On the 24th, I reported to the front office that the AC was not working properly. I was told the issue had been fixed, but the next day (25th), the situation remained unchanged. I reported it again and specifically requested that an engineer check the unit while I was present in the room.
An engineer did arrive around 10 PM and measured the room temperature at 23°C, even though the thermostat was set to 18°C. He claimed to have fixed the issue and advised it would take 15–30 minutes to cool down. However, there was no improvement at all. Considering this was at night, you can imagine how uncomfortable the room must have been during the daytime.
The problem persisted for the remainder of my stay. In fact, on the morning of my checkout at 7 AM, a staff member who came to collect my luggage even commented that the room felt hot.
What is most frustrating is that after I checked out, I received an email from the hotel apologizing and stating that “immediate action” had been taken based on my feedback. This raises a serious question: why was this urgency not shown during the three nights I was actively reporting the issue?
Instead of enjoying my room, I ended up spending my afternoons in the spa just to escape the heat and find a comfortable environment.
This experience was extremely disappointing, especially for a property that claims to be a 5-star resort. I hope management takes guest concerns more seriously in the future and ensures timely and effective resolution of such basic issues.

For the price that you are paying, the service was extremely lackluster, the restaurants and food were above average. If the service improves, then perhaps the overall stay would have been amazing.
Location is amazing, not far from airport, and close to all landmarks of island.
We got a villa 2 which is with ocean view, it was amazing! Cleanliness, service 5 out of 5.
Special thanks to our butler Anas! This young and dedicated to his work man made our staying there special and valuable, starting from welcome day till end of our journey 24/7. This man really amazed me and my family.

Fermetures des restos beaucoup trop tôt… (10h30 )on nous mets parfois dehors à la limite … c’est le ressenti !!

Staff - buggy drivers and in-room attendants are tentative and friendly. One buggy staff gave us a bottle of citronella spray, really nice. Infinity pool, relaxing and best location for sunset
Don’t use pre-pay debit card as it caused major inconvenience having doubled ‘payments’
Food breakfast and buffet not really up to 5* hotel standard but genuinely friendly staff made up for it
