We loved all the smiling, friendly staff and the fresh fruit,pastries,juices & yogurt for breakfast was perfect. The greeters Edwin and Adharra were helpful and fun.
The housekeepers were 5 star., very clean rooms and great service! The VIEWS both from the room and rooftop are unmatched. The rooftop pool area is AMAZING. Its center island, so alot quieter than most spots. It faces the carribean side, so is a bit windy, but cool to watch the sunrise and ppl surfing from our patio.! Some ppl complained about the shell shower, but it got hot right away and was decent enough for 2 showers. Bed was comfy, just not for a long sleep (but who wants to sleep long in Mexico, anyways):-) I loved that the hotel was comfortable and not fussy. Felt kinda like home.
The doors to the rooms need some updating, night staff leaves by 10 so a solid entry door would be nice. There was a few things advertised that the hotel did not have, bbq, beach bag, cotton puffs, slippers, hammock ( the wind took the one from our room). The TV didn't really work, but we had our tablet and it didn't bother us. There's some road noise till about midnight, but otherwise quiet. Kitchenette needs a tea kettle.

A lovely breakfast was delivered each morning on a beautiful tray; lots of fresh fruit, some type of bread, jam, sometimes peanut butter, fresh juice. Coffee pot in the room.

We were able to walk 20 minutes into centro and 10 - 20 minutes in the other direction for meals and hotel located out of the bustle. But easy to flag a cab when you want one.
We were there for 7 nights and upgraded for a view and what looked like a beautiful balcony on the Booking.com photos. We envisioned quiet candlelit nights over vino. When we arrived, there were two old chairs with ancient stained pillows, a small old coffee table, and an ashtray. NOTHING like the photos. After a few days at my requests, we got an old hammock (not like the one in photos), two candles, and newer pillows. The staff's hands are tied; the owner is clearly uninterested in using hotel profits to keep the rooms up to the standards as depicted.

A main road runs in front of the hotel. It's non-stop vehicle noise. It's also a very windy location.
If you're renting a golf cart, best to go choose one in town. We wanted to give the hotel the biz, but they ordered us the oldest low power, noisiest cart on the island. For the same price, we could have gotten one of the more deluxe, quiet carts.

Direkt vor der Unterkunft verläuft die Straße auf der Tag und Nacht Verkehr ist. Der Strand über der Straße ist nicht zum Baden. Von der Unterkunft muss man immer Taxi fahren oder sich ein Golf-Cart leihen (rel. teuer: 95 € /Tag). In die nördliche Ortschaft läuft man ca. 15 min direkt an der Straße.
Für das Geld wäre ein Fitnessraum ganz schön. Die Muschel-Duschköpfe sind stylish, aber unpraktikabel.

The housekeeping staff were friendly. The linen was good quality.
The listing is not accurate at all. I booked a "deluxe double room with balcony and sea view". The view is a semi-partial sea view at best, and the balcony has no furniture other than 1 hammock. When I bought this to the hotel's attention, he said it was unrealistic for me to expect him to do anything about the palms that had grown since the pictures were taken, and now block the view, as it's "nature". I was told I could pay for a more expensive room, or leave with NO refund. Also note that most of the facilities included in the description (desk, proper wardrobe, BBQ, unit on ground floor, among others) are not there. When I asked to speak to the manager who had made that decision, I was denied.
Also to note that the wind GAILED there for the full 4 days we were there, but it was totally calm everywhere else on the island- it's in a very exposed position that is an unpleasant 20 minute walk on a busy road to the nearest restaurant.
I would advise other travellers to book elsewhere - this didn't meet expectations.

The staff was wonderful, beautiful views, a great rooftop sitting pool. Rooms were big and comfortable. Excellent breakfast.

Det største problem hotellet her er at det ligger ud til en meget trafikeret vej man kan ikke sidde på terrassen uden at det støjer meget kraftigt

הזרם במקלחת קצת מציק כי המים יוצאים מקונכיה כזאת והזרם לא אחיד אבל לא נורא..
