Glenwood Apartment

Perfekt beliggenhet til utflukter og ikkje minst veldig flott bygg det ligger i👌 Fort Augustus er en nydelig liten landsby, kun 3 minutter unna å gå. Badet kunne nok fått seg en oppgradering, men dette er et rimelig og flott bosted

Tried to change date didn’t even get a response.

Check in process needs work. Called 2 numbers before finding someone to help who did not work for the apartment company. Then had to wait 15 mins for a lady to arrive. Not what you want after a long flight/drive.

Ich war zum zweiten Mal im Highland Club und ich werde ganz sicher wiederkommen. Die komplette Anlage ist einfach wunderschön und ideal zum erholen.

This was a great place to stay and in a great area! The property itself is slightly outdated, but for the price, it was great!

Super location right next to the Caledonian canal and Loch Ness. Friendly greeting and easy check in check out.
On site facilities too many to name!
Would return again - no question.

The apartment was well equipped, a lovely place to stay with beautiful surrounding, would recommend.

The apartment was lovely with a great view onto the cricket pitch. The furnishings were smart and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was ideal for 3 - I think it would have been a bit cosy for 4. The facilities were great and we used the pool and tennis court whilst we were there. Great location and certainly had the wow factor.
The windows were not easy to open and close but that was all.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Glenwood Apartment. The Highland Club is a very unique property in a beautiful location. The process of getting into the apartment was simple and Paul (from Aonach Mor, the property management company) was great. He greeted us and provided us a tour of the facilities. The checkout was simple: drop the keys in a box.

So, here are a couple of notes for your awareness:
1) The Glenwood Apartment is in the "Raven Wing" which is a newer building that is NOT part of the original fortress/abbey. It is a small, modern apartment building. Nothing wrong with this but if you want to stay in a room that is part of the historical buildings, this is not it.
2) The room is best suited for two adults and, maybe, two small children (10 yrs or under). Our college-age daughters stayed with us and the pull-out sofa in the living room/kitchen leaves a lot to be desired in terms of size and comfort. The "king-size" bed in the bedroom is comfortable but it is not a US-size "king." It is more like a queen-size bed at best.
3) The kitchen was well equipped and in great condition. Londis (a small market/gas station) is a 5-minute walk and has everything you might need for a stay, including eggs, milk, bread, etc. Just be aware that U.S.-issued credit cards will not work at the gas pumps here. They work fine in the store but the only option for gas is pay-at-the-pump. So, if you need fuel, a store employee must use their card so you can pump gas.

The apartment was amazing, cozy, clean and tidy. Only can complaint about sofa-bed, honestly very uncomfortable

Great place. Lovely grounds and very convenient for local attractions.
