Great value for the price. Friendly staff, nice breakfast, cozy rooms. Nothing to say about it
The only "downside" was the ceiling in the bathroom. Since the room was on the top, just under the roof, the ceiling was very low in some points. But for the rest, nothing to complain about really.
the location of the apartment is near the Maydan, and few famous spots in trabzon, the room was nice and comfortable for me as a solo traveller.
Everyone on the staff, from the cleaning ladies to the kitchen staff, is friendly and ready to help with your questions. The receptionists speak English well. These people create the best possible atmosphere for the place.
The location is nice. Meydan is within walking distance. There are a lot of buses that run near the hotel. If you don't have a car, use the Moovit app to find a suitable bus and track how many minutes away it is. You can pay by card on the bus.
Breakfast was nice. There were a lot of vegetables, watermelon, eggs cooked in different styles, cheese, cereal and milk, and Turkish tea. Breakfast starts at 7:30 and lasts until 10:00.
The towels looked like they had been through hell and back. They were ripped and had holes in them. Definitely not what you expect for $90 per night.
The minibar didn't work, so I couldn't keep my drinks cold. I've heard this is a common issue at this hotel, not just in my room.
The Wi-Fi download speed was 3 Mbps and the upload speed was 0.8 Mbps on average, even during hours when the fewest people were using it. Having separate Wi-Fi routers for each floor doesn't seem to improve the speed.
