La experiencia no estuvo a la altura de un hotel boutique de cuatro estrellas ni del precio pagado. El rooftop permaneció cerrado durante toda la estancia y el desayuno era limitado, sin productos locales de calidad y sin posibilidad de elegir libremente. Además, el servicio fue correcto, pero poco cercano y poco proactivo, y nos sorprendió que parte del personal no pudiera atender en español. En conjunto, son detalles que deslucen una estancia en un hotel con tanto potencial y una tarifa tan elevada. Esa exclusividad se debe acompañar de servicios acordes y mas en España donde hay competencia y posibilidades infinitas de clientes exigentes a todos los niveles.

I found this hotel totally by chance. Located in a tucked away community of holiday and residential homes centred around a moorish styled village of multi coloured houses, quirky and interesting. The Village is on a long beach with amazing views of Gibraltar. The Hotel is set a few minutes walk to the beach and other vantage points to see the view of the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and North Africa. The team who run it are highly professional, engaging and really take care of their guests. The chef is fantastic, the dinner menu was not huge ( a plus not criticism) but perfectly balanced and interesting. The food very, very good. Particularly good breakfast with a variety of options, you will probably want them all. The rooms are nicely decorated, large, scrupulously clean. The immaculate bathrooms with large showers are big, there is lots of wardrobe space and generously large terraces with chairs and views towards the sea. South facing. The team were super welcoming, nothing was too much effort, it was pretty faultless I would say.

My wife and I were very fortunate to be invited to the “Reopening of Entre Palmeras Restaurant” located in the beautiful Boutique Hotel in Alcaidesa.
The experience was amazing from beginning to end!,
The dining room has been given a complete makeover, encompassing a well laid out dining area as well as several small corners where you can sit and relax in comfortable armchairs to enjoy a pre or post dinner cocktail. You have a choice of inside or outside dining, where the outdoor dining patio also received a beautiful, inviting makeover,
The service and the food are beyond compare, the team starts with the owners Tom and Beatrice, you will receive a warm welcome and big smile from Julia. Head chef Marcelo is a magician when it comes to regional dishes, last nights fare stretching from Norway to Spain via Scotland, France and arriving in Spain ( see the menu in the photos).
Each course was served by Kamil and Christian with the precision you would expect from a 5 star restaurant. Kamil explained every wine that accompanied each course in detail, which only added to our enjoyment.
