The price matched the expectations
Cons:

General cleanliness in the room. Shower glass was frosting from water marks, Mould on the grout and sealant in the shower. Shower leaks from the hoses as seal are missing.

The hotel is generally looking tired and dated but nice enough. You could also hear every conversation and movement from ajoining rooms like they were in the same room.

Brilliant stay and the staff were the star of the show
Pros:

Staff were amazing and super friendly, room was clean and had plenty of towels, toiletries and drinking facilities were good, bed was comfortable and bath was full size and super comfy after a long day

Lovely hotel, welcoming staff, good sized rooms and great food.
Pros:

The room was amazing, well worth the upgrade to a 'Superior' for the extra space. Great shower and bathroom, plenty of tea and coffee and ample hanging space for clothes.

Cons:

The TV could have been a little bigger for such a large room.

Social catch up evening.
Pros:

Lovely, quiet hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were small, basic but clean and comfortable. We didn't end up having an evening meal, but stayed and had breakfast the following morning which was reasonably priced and the food was lovely.

Cons:

We had to wait awhile to check in as there was nobody at the desk and it took someone a fair bit of time to arrive even after pressing the bell a few times, causing a queue of other guests also waiting. We arrived with friends and they had also booked a separate room. After a few drinks and a chat in the bar area we decided to have a few more drinks in our room. A member of staff came and told us that their was a maximum occupancy of 2 guests per room, and although we explained that they were also staying at the hotel in a separate room and we were just having a catch up they were persistent that they had to vacate the room. Which put an early end to our catch up.

Pros:

Helpful staff clean room

Cons:

Very uncomfortable bed, you could feel every spring needs replacing. Got very little sleep. First hotel I’ve ever stopped in that doesn’t provide a hair dryer. Also very thin pillows and duvets.

Clean, warm and friendly 😀😀😀
Pros:

I have stayed at this hotel many times for work, the hotel is clean, warm and comfortable, the bedrooms are quite large, the restaurant and bar is really welcoming with quite an extensive menu at realistic prices, the staff are very friendly and helpful, I would recommend this hotel if you were with your family or even for work purposes. Good size free car park as well. Can’t really fault it.

Pros:

Beds and towels were clean

Cons:

This hotel has obviously passed its best. Shabby decoration and the cleaning wasn't great - dusty floor in bathroom . Mould in shower etc. The staff were nice.

Difficult to recommend
Pros:

Very smelly bathroom, strong sewerage smell.
Lots of road noise.
Very creaky floors, lots of noise from the corridors and surrounding rooms
Out of date milk and no teaspoons in the room

I definitely would not stay here again.

Pros:

I stayed here during a canal walk - it's just a short walk to the Stratford Canal from the hotel. It was a very comfortable and quiet stay at a reasonable price. I didn't have dinner but the breakfast was very good. Everyone was friendly.
