A lovely stay in the country near the Bufones de Pria and the Rio Guadamia.
Pros:

The house was located in a beautiful rural area within walking distance of the spectacular coastline on the famous blowholes or Bufones. Carlos was a great host, incredible cook and knowledgeable person.

Cons:

There was some construction going on while we were there related to the septic system, which caused some minor issues with our stay. Otherwise it was all great.

Glad we stayed here!
Pros:

The meals (additional cost) were delicious, the best we've had along the Camino so far. Breakfast included protein! Also, the room was comfortable, lots of windows, and a jetted tub.

Camino Norte Luxury Stay!
Pros:

Luxury on the Camino Norte route!!! This was by far one of my favorite stays. My room was well decorated and exceptionally clean.

There aren't any restaurants nearby but the host does offer an excellent dinner and breakfast for a fee.

An oasis of tranquility offering home-made food in huge quantities!
Pros:

Although it’s situated some way off the beaten track, we enjoyed the peace and tranquility of Villalen. It didn’t matter that there are no shops or restaurants nearby because we were offered an enormous - and delicious! - four-course supper and a similarly filling breakfast served in a charming, heated outhouse in the garden.

Me encantó el trato personal con los propietarios del alojamiento, siempre atentos a que nos nos faltara de nada, luego el con afritrion de enseñarnos de ir a y otro chapo.... conseguíamos ver los bufones gracias a sus consejos , la habitación espectacular limpia y sus instalaciones magníficas... reconmendable 100/100 volverero Bego y Angel .
