Wir können das Hotel Plaza Buchhorner Hof uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
Pros:

Das Hotelzimmer und das Bad waren ruhig, sauber und großzügig. Die Betten waren sehr komfortabel. Die Klimaanlage arbeitete effektiv und dabei angenehm leise. Wir haben hervorragend geschlafen.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet – frisch, abwechslungsreich und sehr vielfältig.

Gute Lage, gutes Frühstück

Cons:

Unfreundliche Dame am Empfang bei unserer Ankunft; erklärt nicht jedem Gast das Gleiche (dem Vorherigen wurde zum Beispiel erklärt, dass es eine Treppe zum See gibt); obwohl man das Kennzeichen des Fahrzeugs vorher angeben muss, ist dies keine Garantie für einen Parkplatz.
Ausziehcouch in der Suite quietscht sehr.

Das alte gepflegte Hotel mit Komfort. Sehr gute Betten, freundliches Personal

Cons:

Es hat Treppenstufen, so muss man die Koffer tragen. Im Haus innen auch Stufen.
Die Duschen eher eng.

Fragliches Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Ich würde nicht nochmal buchen.
Pros:

-Bodensee ist in Geh-Distanz (ca. 3‘).
-Croissants und Brötchen sehr lecker
-Zimmer war sauber

Cons:

-altes Ambiente des Hotels (überall dunkles Holz)
-abgenutzte Möbel (besonders im Frühstücksraum)
-überfüllter Frühstücksraum, keinen sauberen Sitzplatz (dies ist kein Vorwurf an das Personal! Sie waren nur zu zweit…)
-Rührei beim Frühstück nicht selbstgemacht und versalzen; Frischobst wurde nicht nachgefüllt, Lachs sah vertrocknet aus, allg. eher ein chaotisches, weniger ansprechendes Frühstücksbuffet

Pros:

Not much. Left after 1 night

Cons:

Bars on windows is a real no no
Very dated... entrance felt like something from the 1970s
Room was ok but bathroom was very poor.

After a few hours we decided to rebook another hotel and checked out

Lost 2 nights payment as non refundable..but that illustrates the sense of feeling about the place
That we would rather lose money than stay

First time in 30yrs of travel have I done that and hopefully learn to research more next time.

Die Lage ist gut. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt aber nicht.
Pros:

Die Lage ist gut. Man kann an der Promenade bis in die Innenstadt laufen. Parkplätze gibt es am Ende der Straße (einzelne Garagen oder Parkplatz). Sehr empfehlen können wird den Biergarten Lammgarten.

Cons:

Das Badezimmer unseres Zimmers hätte eine Renovierung nötig. Und die Temperatur der Dusche schwankt sehr stark. Das Frühstück war nicht so gut (Spiegeleier kalt, Wurst abgelaufen, Besteck sehr fleckig). Die Garage für das Auto ließ sich nicht öffnen. Das war bekannt, trotzdem wurde uns diese Garage gegeben. Die Bar war geschlossen.

Schönes Hotel in See nähe.
Pros:

Lage perfekt, man ist gleich am See, im Zentrum und auch Bahnhof. Unterhalb des Hotels am See befindet auch eine Minigolfanlage. Kaffeevollautomat, man konnte sich zu jederzeit Kaffee holen kostenlos , es gab alle Sorten .

Cons:

Ich finde bei dem Preis der Übernachtung, könnte die Auswahl beim Frühstück größer sein.

Lovely hotel near the train station and the lake
Pros:

Location of the property is very convenient to all amenities and to the train station, nice that we didn’t need to rent a car. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was large with a sofa, bed was very comfortable with lovely linens. Large bathroom with hot water in the shower that didn’t run out. Very quiet room, didn’t hear any ambient noise from next door or in the halls. Would highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay there again in the future.
