Pros:

Had a pleasant room with a large bed, sea view, and balcony. The breakfast was good - à la carte and clearly fresh cooked for the first morning which was excellent and buffet for the remaining days which was good

Cons:

Parking was an issue and this was out of season and the hotel wasn’t full. The car park is a lay-by opposite the hotel. Non residents also park there (even though they shouldn’t) and because the hotel had a function on each night we were there it was full when we came back from our evening meal meaning we had to park some distance from the hotel. Unsatisfactory and even worse if guests have restricted mobility. The main restaurant was not available for an evening meal and the bistro bar is not conducive to a relaxed evening meal so we ate out each night

Reception staff very welcoming some of the bar staff were helpful others not so much pleasant bedroom great breakfast

Cons:

The amount of steps to get to the internal lift food in the bar I had a burger it was burnt dry and over cooked I was unable to eat it

Superb sea views & very large bedroom
Pros:

Super views. Very large room with sea view & balcony. Room price included use of Spa & breakfast. Sofa in bedroom.

Cons:

Only thing was that the hotel could do with a little updating but overall very enjoyable.

Cons:

Many of the communal areas tired and neglected .
Crockery chunky and old fashioned. Outdated

Room newly refurbished but no towel rail, old electrical sockets and ancient light fittings
Bathroom window out of reach

Fish and chips lunch was very disappointing. Too big and overcooked. Waitress informed

It is not immediately apparent that the accessible external lift is part of the hotel! I struggled up the wobbly steps with luggage!

Lovely break to Cornwall
Pros:

Fantastic spot, good breakfast and lunch, comfy bed and helpful staff

Cons:

Small noisy room. Bathroom smelt of drains. Extractor fan at back of hotel was very noisy.
No electricity when we arrived and no water in morning!!
