Overall good stay. Took off two stars because the external building door does not latch and therefore is a security risk

Pros:

Nos gustó mucho alojarnos aquí!
La ubicación es muy buena, la habitación es espaciosa y muy linda decorada. Descansamos super bien y disfrutamos mucho.

Attractive, friendly and mostly comfortable.
Pros:

Location was difficult to find at first, but convenient and close to tram and interesting shops and restaurants. The room was quiet and pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was big and had a couch and comfortable bed.

Cons:

The 'kitchenette' was missing basic cutlery and dishes, and the bathroom was tiny.

Could have been better
Pros:

Great position, really close to Galata tower.

Cons:

The room was really dark and with a few things broken (e.g. the mini fridge), the shower didn't have hot water, not sure if this is a widespread issue but would have been good to know in advance. Overall I don't think it lived to the expectations given the high rating on Booking.

Dirty stories
Pros:

La cama era cómoda pero las sabanas y las almohadas estaban sucias.

Cons:

Tuvimos que pedir papel higiénico porque no habían puesto, no teníamos toallas de ducha (solamente las de lavabo), todo estaba muy sucio, los raíles de la ducha llenos de mugre, los sofás llenos de manchas, la puerta de la nevera se caía por lo que no enfriaba en absoluto, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba y aunque fuera abril quisimos encenderlo porque hacía un calor horrible en la habitación y no podíamos abrir las ventanas bien porque no se sujetaban abiertas y había gatos al lado de la ventana queriendo entrar, no había suficientes utensilios de cocina, la habitación que nos tocó está pegada a la recepción y se oye absolutamente todo, las cortinas dejaban entrar muchísima luz y la calle en la que se encuentra es de difícil acceso. No hay ningún tipo de servicio de habitaciones, nosotros solo estuvimos dos noches pero si estás una semana olvídate de que te limpien absolutamente nada...

Pros:

Jolie chambre spacieuse avec vue sur une cour arborée et Istanbul, calme. Quartier calme proche de la tour de Galata touristique. Proche du tramway aussi donc accès rapide à la Corne d’or. Personnel très gentil. Simple mais parfait.

Emplacement très central avec vue
Pros:

L’emplacement est idéal et proche de tout ce qu’on visite à Istanbul. La vue du balcon est très belle et étonnamment l’appartement est au calme malgré un quartier qui grouille de monde. Aussi la douche est petite mais la pression de l’eau est parfaite. Les chambres sont lumineuses et le parquet est très beau. La literie est très confortable!

Cons:

Le coin cuisine n’est pas suffisamment équipé. Il est impossible d’y cuisiner. Pas de casserole, pas de cafetière, pas de four à micro ondes, pas de petites cuillères, pas de bols ni même un seul saladier, pas assez de verres ni de tasses. Bref. C’est ok pour boire un thé mais difficile de se faire un dîner si l’envie de se reposer de la foule vous prenait.

Lovely stay in Galata- would stay again
Pros:

The room is spacious and in a really good location- peaceful road but very central to get to various good spots and transport options. The staff were kind and let me store my bag on the day of checkout as I was only flying late.

Cons:

The shower pools water and needs to be unclogged or further investigated. The Wi-Fi doesn’t really work well- I had to use mobile data most of the time.

Pros:

The location was central to everything. People were very nice and welcome. All stores and transportation was close to the location.

Cons:

The room was clean, but the lower floor area was open to smoke, causing our room a strong odor. The windows were closed, but I believed something was causing the smoke to enter.

Pros:

Главное - тихая улица в центре Стамбула (!), легко добраться до всех основных достопримечательностей, уютная атмосфера, удобные кровати. Но учитывайте - это не отель с "классическим" набором услуг. Нам важнее была атмосфера и тишина и мы их получили.
