Pros:

The location was excellent — right in the city center and within walking distance to almost everywhere. Breakfast was okay by European standards.

Cons:

The room was not very spacious, and the building felt slightly slanted due to its old structure. Also, since the hotel is owned by Old Town Steak House, there was a strong smell of meat in the hallways and near the elevator, which was unpleasant.

Terrible experience

⭐️ 1/5 – Absolutely unacceptable and unsafe experience

We arrived at the hotel at around midnight, only to find ourselves locked out in a foreign country, in freezing cold weather, with no staff, no keys, no instructions, and no way to enter.

No one answered the phone. No message was sent. No emergency contact was provided. We were literally left outside at night with nowhere to go.

The hotel now claims that check-in is only until 11:00 PM and that we “arrived late.” Even if that is written somewhere, leaving paying guests stranded outside with zero assistance is completely unacceptable and unsafe. A responsible hotel would provide clear instructions, a key box, after-hours access, or at the very least answer the phone.

Because of their negligence, we were forced to find and pay for another hotel in the middle of the night. Despite this, they refuse to issue any refund or take responsibility.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I strongly warn future guests: do not stay here if there is any chance you might arrive late. You may find yourself abandoned outside with no help.

Very bad experience
Pros:

I highly reccomand to anyone to avoid this hotel. The room is outdated and with old furniture and even a simple hairdryer is missing in the room.
The staff is very rude and unpolite.
They denied to serve breakfast because I arrived at 10 06 hours (I had busy morning in my company) . Breakfast us served from 7 to 10.
They even didn’t allowed me to finish my job at the reception area after 11 o’clock and they asked me to leave the hotel after 11 so I finished it in the nearby caffe bar.
The only advantage of this hotel is a good position in the center if Zurich.

More of a pension than a hotel
Pros:

Location is the greatest. Close to anything and everything. Good shower (warm and strong amount of water)

Cons:

- The hotel is physically above a restaurant and that’s where you’d head in for check in… so there could have ppl having meals when you arrive with your luggage - clients and the staff give you the stare, it is weird.
- most of the time the wi-fi didn’t work in my room
- breakfast for me was the low point: you can’t pick your table, they choose the ones they want (in the restaurant!), not much variety and they put a very loud music (rock?). Like… who wants that much noise when you just woke up?!

Buena ubicación y excelente trato
Pros:

La ubicación es muy buena, cerca de restaurantes y tiendas, cerca de zonas de transporte y con puntos turísticos cercanos. La habitación un poco vieja, pero el servicio de la gente del hotel extraordinaria, en extremos amables

Beliggenhet

Cons:

Rommet var svært varme, noe som i utgangspunktet kan oppleves positivt, men siden det ikke var mulig å regulere temperaturen, ble det ubehagelig å sove i så høy varme. Det var også mye støy natt til fredag og lørdag.

Oppbevaring av bagasje etter utsjekk ble håndtert på en uvanlig måte. Vi fikk ikke beskjed om at bagasjen kun ville bli stående i trappen ved restauranten og ikke oppbevart i et eget rom.

Siden hotellet ligger i samme bygning som restauranten, var det også merkbar matlukt i hotellets
