If you're in Zurich in summer make this your first choice.
Pros:

Hotel Old Town had the one thing sorely lacking in most every other place we have stayed in Europe and the UK. That is, effective cooling, with reverse cycle air conditioning in the room. Yes it made an appalling noise at random intervals, but it was worth it after barely sleeping for days.

Cons:

The stairs were stylish black stairs with slippery surfaces and near zero distinction of where they started and finished. White tape on every edge please. No one cares how cool it looks when they fall down.

Location only thing going for it
Pros:

The young girl doing the breakfast was friendly and so were the guys working the restaurant. Location is the only other thing going for it

Cons:

The owners were not very friendly. The room keys constantly failed and the owner didn’t believe us. The location was noisy with restaurants downstairs packing up furniture at night. The rooms were barely made up just a flick of the blanket but I have a feeling one girl was doing the lot. The hotel is on top of the restaurant so made it hard to locate. When we checked in you went into the restaurant and breakfast was there also however the owner insisted that you go in and out the back door which made you feel like a you were not valued. It was a dodgy back door.

Ottima posizione per visitare Zurigo
Pros:

L'hotel è in una posizione strategica per visitare il centro storico e ha un ottimo ristorante che permette di cenare sia all'interno sia all'esterno

Cons:

La stanza era un po' piccola, ma adeguata al fatto che l'hotel è in una costruzione del centro storico. Purtroppo la mattina della partenza non ho potuto fare colazione, perché sarei andata via presto rispetto all'orario previsto.

Idéalement situé
Pros:

L’emplacement ! Proche de la gare et en plein centre, difficile de faire mieux ! Chambre très propre. L’ascenseur qui m’a évité de porter ma valise jusqu’au 4ème étage !

Cons:

Pas de meuble pour poser la valise ailleurs qu’au sol. J’aurais apprécié un tabouret et une patère dans la salle de bain pour poser mes vêtements.

レストランのスタッフに声かけてチェックインする方式です。スタッフも慣れていますし、荷物もホテル入口まで運んでくれて優しかったです。何よりエアコンがついているのが本当に良かった。朝食は宿泊価格に見合った素敵なものでした。チーズ2種程度、サラミ3種程度、スクランブルエッグ、シリアル、パン。どれも美味しく食べれました。これ以上求めるのはわがままじゃないかと( ;∀;)

Cons:

シャワー室は確かに狭いけど、体重80㎏の僕でも問題はありませんでした。そこはお客さんも我慢しましょうねって感じです。

Perfect Location
Pros:

Brilliant location in the heart of the Old Town close to cafes, shops, restaurants and tram stops. Around a 15 minute walk from the main train station. The room was small, but very clean and well equipped. We thought it might be noisy but the windows had really good sound-proofing. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was nice and had a good selection. The steak restaurant was a little expensive, but so good that we ate there both nights.

Beat option for solo traveler
Pros:

The ideal hotel for a few nights for one person. Convenient location, the room had air conditioning, despite the center on the night from Monday to Tuesday it was very quiet, 100 m there is a store open until 00:00,

Cons:

I couldn't turn on the TV. I had two remote controls, one for the TV and the other for the set-top box with a TV signal. I couldn't turn on any program in any combination.

Definitely would stay again
Pros:

Room very comfortable for 2 .Air-conditioning was awesome. Breakfast very tasty and high quality. Staff was very friendly. Super convenient to train station and an easy 15 minute walk. Numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance

The floor lamp wasn't working but we managed.
