Mevlana Hotel

Our experience with this accommodation was terrible.

We were welcomed into a place that was in a ruined condition, full of dust, and the atmosphere was not warm or friendly at all. The rooms looked like a construction site and were nothing like the pictures shown online om Booking. They offered us three different rooms after we refused to enter the one that was originally assigned to us, but each of those rooms was far from suitable even for a minimal stay. The beds had no bed sheets and were not properly prepared or completed.

After we expressed our dissatisfaction, they offered us another hotel where we could check in the next day. That night we had to find a place ourselves and pay for another hotel to sleep in. The next day, when we arrived at the other hotel, they told us that we had to pay an additional 1500 lira as the difference between the hotels, even though we had already paid the accommodation in advance.

Overall, the experience was terrible and we would not recommend staying in this hotel to anyone because nothing is as it was presented. Also, a friend of ours told us that he had exactly the same experience with this hotel. Thank you

The place is in need of refurbishment I was ripped off with money and did not get a refund when I cancelled after a day. The place was not very clean no hot water.

One plus point about this hotel is that they allowed us to leave our luggage and use the bathroom before the scheduled check-in. The only thing that was flawless was the bedding, which was clean and fresh. Other than that, it was a disaster. Literally a disaster. I travel a lot in Turkey. I stay in hotels in the same price range, as well as in hostels. I understand that a hotel may be old and in need of renovation, and that this is a big investment. However, cleaning the floor and dusting is basic. The bathroom floor was very dirty. There was dust everywhere, on the windows and doors. The floor in the dining room at breakfast was so dirty that it stuck to my shoes. Breakfast consisted of bread, eggs, tomatoes, jam and butter. There wasn't even any cheese. The teapot was leaking water with limescale. Never again. Avoid this place. A hotel for people with strong nerves. Additionally: staff members speak Turkish only, no other language.

So they are absolutely a scam and they take you to a very, very dirty hotel that that were roaches on the ceiling, dirty beds disgusting and then when you complain that this is not the pictures that I’ve seen they say oh that’s our other location and if you wanna go there, you have to pay extra

Firstly let me state that I got what I paid for and was good with that. Some of the items that may upset others are:- Towels were so old I used my own, wifi didn't work, room decorations are ancient, Breakfast a bit of a joke eggs, tomato, bread and olives and Cay.

No kettle for tea of coffee no bottle water no tissue or toilet paper. Very small room.
