Hidden Gem in Gangtok
Pros:

We had a great stay in Dilchen Residency from June 17 to 19.
Location: The hotel is a short 10 minute car ride from the main market area of Gangtok (MG Road).
Staff: is excellent and made all the difference in the world. Very attentive and customer service oriented.
Food: The Punjabi food is very good. My son is a picky eater and he loved the food made by "Jeff" as my son called the Chef.
Rooms: are clean and spacious and they have nice little terrace on the top floor with a view of the mountain ranges.
Amenities: Good beds, good blankets/comforters, internet, hot water, room service. They went outside their room service hours to accommodate my elderly mother.

One final note: The owner is a very personable and professional young guy - Kanha. If there is anything you need he will make it happen. Very flexible and customer oriented. We ended up in Gangtok when the Darjeeling/Kalimpong protests were going on and he made sure we had a safe passage from Gangtok to Siliguri. Hats off to him!

The staff and the owner made it an amazing experience.

Nice hotel with a beautiful view
Pros:

Excellent hotel with nice and comfortable stay. Very responsive and courteous staff. The manager and the owner are excellent person
