Certainly not the most enjoyable holiday for the above reason.
Pros:

The hotel is lovely. The room and bathroom were exceptional and the housekeeping staff and reception staff were excellent.

Cons:

The bar/lounge is misrepresented in the photos as it is essentially not available to patrons of the hotel. It is called "Tribe" and is used as a co-working hub for remote workers. We felt most uncomfortable at all times in this "bar" as it is also used for events in the evenings - generally from 7-11 pm. There is a small area at the very back of the bar which we were told we could use during one of these events but all the chairs had been taken. On another occasion, our 70 year old friend, who has an issue with mobility, was asked to vacate his seat at 6.50 p.m. as there was an event starting at 7.00 p.m.
We explained the situation to the Reception staff. They were very understanding but of course the people who were hosting the event had obviously paid to use the room, as did the remote workers. The remote workers were busy during the day - using laptops, phones, etc., so of course we couldn't really talk at all.
This is totally unacceptable and I will be putting a review up on Trust Pilot to this effect.

Optimale Lage für Städtetouristen. Sehr gediegene Ausstattung der Zimmer, speziell auch das Badezimmer/Dusche!
Sehr, sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung beim Frühstück! Große Auswahl bei der Wahl des Frühstücks.

Cons:

Durch die Lage des Zimmers an einer schmalen Straße mit alter Straßenbahn war während der abendlichen Betriebszeit das Fahrgeräusch der Straßenbahn ziemlich deutlich zu hören. Menschen, die schlecht einschlafen können, könnten sich vielleicht durch das Geräusch gestört fühlen.
