L'emplacement de l' hôtel était parfait . L'ambiance extérieure nous faisait penser en octobre aux douces soirées d'été. L'hôtel très confortable et le personnel très accueillant nous ont fait passer un moment très agréable . C'était mon anniversaire et à cette occasion , j'ai eu droit à une petite attention qui m'a fait très plaisir.
. Je retournerai sans aucun doute dans cet établissement.

Comfort and convenience in old Lisbon!
Pros:

Located in Lisbon's old town of Barrio Alto, Le Consulat was close to a host of great restaurants and Fado venues. The staff was tremendously attentive to my needs, booking our ride from the airport to the hotel, making dinner reservations, and providing recommendations for where to go and what to see. Dev and Pedro made Le Consulat a superb base for exploring Lisbon!

Cons:

We arrived from the US well before check-in time, as is usual. While they welcomed us to wait in the lounge until our room was ready, the lounge was a bit rough and didn't have any sofas or comfortable seating more appropriate for an hours-long wait.

overall it was pleasant, however, value for money is not up to standard.
Pros:

Location was fare and good and has plenty of shops and cafes. the staff was a great help all the time. the room was spacious and clean. the hotel is a historic monument which was a great experience

Cons:

Location: I found it less safe vs. Rossio area. which is easy access to everything and everywhere.
Accommodation: it is a nice room; however, the toilet and shower are separate which was extremely inconvenient. the shower had uneven/Broken floor. As well, the room was on the square view directly and is not sound proof so we ended up hearing everything outside the room and not sleeping properly, this should be fixed to provide soundproof isolation guaranteeing guests comfort.

Pros:

Large suite overlooking the square. Spotlessly clean, stylish and sophisticated. The staff were efficient and really friendly. The location is more or less unbeatable for Lisbon, great restaurants and all the sights nearby.

Cons:

The breakfast was delicious but just a menu to choose from would perhaps be better as we ended up not eating everything. This is the only reason I didn't give a 10, but I'm being really picky here!

Pros:

The staff were amazing. Correspondence leading up to the stay was perfect especially helping with a park. Booking tuk tuk and advice on getting around etc. perfect location. Hotel is older but beautifully decorated and clean. Very spacious and for once a comfortable bed.

Excellent stay with great location and the most friendliest staff!
Pros:

We loved the location, super close to the main area we wanted to visit within very short distance of walking. We've also loved the cute decor of the hotel and the staff was just absolutely wonderful - very kind and friendly!
