Theatre Residence

I loved this hotel. Excellent value for money. We were looking for something nice but close to the Grand Palace and found this one. It is very spacious, and there is a ferry 2-3 min walk from the hotel that works until 18 and it's like 5 baht to get to the other side where the Grand Palace is. There is also a market right around the corner and also a few min walk to the nearest 7/11. They have a restaurant right next to the hotel and the breakfast is included in the price. We took the poolside view room on the ground floor and it was great. The smoking area was just a few feet away from the room. It has a small minibar (chips, drinks in the fridge), a lot of storage space, big screen tv, nice and spacious shower and a small terrace in front of the room (and right next to the pool that is opened until 19). They offer laundry service as well. As far as parking goes, they have a small parking lot for maybe 4 - 6 cars. The atmosphere was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly. As far as we could tell everything was clean and the staff came to make our room every day and replace everything that was needed (toilet paper, new towels...). There was no noise during the night, but since there is a school nearby during the day you can hear kids from the smoking area only. If I would have to say anything negative about the property it would be the shutter blinds in the room. They are a bit of drag to close and navigate and don't really blackout the room so people might be able to see inside. The blackout/roll out kind would be a better choice for the ground floor next to the pool. Hope this helps if you plan on staying here but I would recommend.

The ovation was great - set back from the hustle and bustle but near the river.

Umfangreiches Frühstück (wenn auch nicht alle Produkte in gleicher Qualität), schöner Pool (wenn auch etwas flach), freundlicher Service (allerdings gelegentlich etwas unpersönlich), sehr modernes Zimmer ohne Mängel, tolle Lage in der Nähe von Wassertaxi und Wang Lang Markt.

Skvělá lokalita, čistota, ochota personálu, check-in byl umožněn dříve/při odjezdu jsme mohli uložit zavazadla, dostali jsme i vodu

Die Farben, die Raumanordnung, das Eingebettetsein in das Leben - Tempel und Kinder in der Nähe.

Lovely and clean, nice pool, lovely staff. Close to temple, Market and cafes on river.

People, Aof and Dream were just excellent!

Great location for sightseeing, close to ferry port which allows easy access to many attractions or to get to the BTS transport system.
Bustling market a few minutes walk, and plenty of places to eat and drink within easy walking distance.
We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of our trip and decided to stay for a further 4 nights at the end.
Nice, big, clean room… lovely pool, great breakfast - which is by the river.
Would definitely recommend.

C’est ma seconde fois dans cet établissement et j’aime tout. L’équipe très professionnelle, accueillante et souriante et toujours à l’écoute ; l’emplacement en face du palais royal et au bord de la rivière. Le confort de l’hôtel sans oublier le quartier très animé autour avec un magnifique temple, un marché, un embarcadère et le Wat Arun à 1km à peine.
