Grand Palace Hotel Butuan

Good job

My shower was broken, leaking toilet, dirty bath mats, black mould in the shower and all over the shower Matt, public areas dirty, safe coming out of the wall and damaged. Breakfast was inedible.
Only some issues resolved and no response from my complaint. Do not recommend . I don't have enough room here for all the details but worst hotel in Philippines so far.

We got there 1215 and they didn’t let us check in early. Not offered an option to pay or anything. Said we have to wait in the lobby until they called us. So we left to get lunch and came back. We also check out earlier than 12 but guess that’s not being considered They also told us additional towels will be 50php but when we requested one they change it to 100php. Also no towels when you use the pool. You have to use whatever towels you have in the room. The pool is cloudy the kiddy pool is dirty.

I liked everything about the hotel but the food. Breakfast buffet was just okay.

Roaches in the room and a moldy smell. Good room for the prices but you may need to switch rooms after a quick inspection

I rented the one bedroom suite. It was a very large nice room. Worth the price.

Gpod place and good price stayed in presidential suite was good and spacious. But dated and some bad furniture and such like that.

We chacked in late. It was quick and we were in our room in just a few minutes.

We liked our room & most everything else, however we don't care to see dogs mating while we have breakfast.

The Schezwan fried chicken at the buffet is really tasty. Extra juicy and spicy. Made the hotel stay even better!

I moved from another hotel in Butuan city to this " Grand Palace " hotel (just because in picturesit looks nice ) what a mistake, this hotel is old and outdated. The room I got had a very strong smell of dust and some sorf of chemicals . I coudl only stay for one night in this room , next morning i woke up with headache and sore throat. I asked to the front desk and I was told that the supervisor said that the room was okay and nothing wrong ( I thought, he should put his kids in this room for a night) .... I contacted my credit card company and i was told that if this hotel refuse to charge me to another room they won't charge me . After saying to the front desk that I wasn't going to sleep in the room , they decided to change me to another room .....be advised, mold and fungus in the bathrooms, not to mention the bad smell in the elevator....dont expect good breakfast here ....get transportation is a nightmare as well

I dont care to have a dog in the foyer/dining area.
Our refridge was not working.

We stay at Grand Palace Hotel as requested of my daughter to celebrate her birthday there and they enjoyed at the swimming pool. About the room everything fine and the breakfast was perfect. I'll recommend it to my friend's.
