Important information:

Due to the renovation we will have, until December 2023, from Monday to Friday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, only one elevator available. However, it is possible that due to removal/supply of building materials we may not have any elevators available. The rooms will of course remain accessible by the stairs.

Ontgoochelende ervaring en totaal geen beleving
Pros:

Het eten in het restaurant was goed.

Cons:

Bij het bestellen van onze drank vroegen ze van de bediening of wij een voucher hadden voor een welkomst drank. Wanneer wij antwoordden dat wij deze niet hadden ontvangen vroeg men ons hoe we geboekt hadden. Was dus niet voor klanten die boeken via Booking. Heel vreemde houding van het hotel dat de wijze van boeken bepalend is hoe je behandeld wordt. Wanneer wij bij uitchecken daar op gewezen hebben, werd ons letterlijk gezegd dat wij technisch gezien klanten van Booking zijn en blijkbaar geen klanten van Van der Valk, heel vreemd.
Wij hadden geboekt voor een luxe kamer, maar voor de koffie op de kamer worden kartonnen bekers voorzien. Er is geen water op de kamer en de koelkast van minibar leeg.
Het hygiënische papier van een bedenkelijk niveau.
Er waren geen badjassen, maar gelukkig konden we deze huren aan de receptie. Echter moest ook een borg voor betaald worden, die alleen maar terugbetaald wordt bij terugbrengen aan receptie.
Is wel vreemd om bij uitchecken met natte badjassen te staan aanschuiven aan de balie, waarom kunnen we deze niet gewoon op de kamer laten ?
De kamers zijn groot en proper, en de bedden heel goed, maar er is géén beleving, géén bezieling, geen luxe.
Wij hebben al wat ervaring met Van der Valk, maar mistten de beleving zoals in Arlon, Luik of Gent

great hotel, great food at the restaurant, great access to public transport
Pros:

As usual, the room was incredibly clean, the bathtub was great to relax in after a long day at the convention. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and it changed up a little bit every morning to give us more choice.

Cons:

I was hoping we'd have the mini fridge in our room but we didn't this time, which was unfortunate

Colazione eccellente, sia salata che dolce. La camera era molto spaziosa, con grande letto matrimoniale king-size. Parimenti spazioso era il bagno con doppio lavandino, doccia e vasca con idromassaggio.
