Bedrock Hotel

We were sent to have fantastic local food at local area, superb. Although the hotel is not surrounded by examples like itself- Bedrock is very comfortable. The staff couldn’t be more helpful.
If I was to make one hint, to have more Western options at breakfast like fruit and yogurt.
Debbie and Mr Lee were great hosts who will no doubt help in any way

Excellent service and stay. Owner is friendly and gave us lots of tips of getting around. Location is superb! Will be back again!

1) The hotel and the rooms was very clean and presentable.

2) Staff was very friendly and approachable. They recommended some places and foods nearby.

3) The room's facilities was very good. The room and the bathroom is very big and spacious.

4) Lot's of food choices around the area. And the convenience store is also nearby. Shopping mall Ipoh Parade also quite near.


My family including me really liked this place and will definitely come back here.

Perfect rooms in a small hotel with a wonderful and caring staff. Beautiful artwork throughout the hotel.

Great hotel- We would stay again and recommend to friends. Easy parking and breakfast had options to suit everyone.

房間十分寬敞，除了膠囊咖啡機外，還有冷熱水機。
地點方便，距離著名的老黃芽菜雞、怡發茶室（咖喱麵）再步行距離以內。早上或黃昏天氣不太炎熱時步行到舊街場也是可以的，大概20分鐘。
Check-in時遇到十分熱情的酒店職員，主動跟我們介紹應該去什麼地點觀光、哪裏有好餐廳。

再次到訪怡保的話會首選預訂這酒店。

Staff was very friendly, very walkable although we had a car. Good parking. Very pleasant stay.

It is close to everything

Quite convenient to go around like shopping and dining with the hotel staff is friendly.

Such a warm and lovely reception from the owner. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Lots of personality! Breakfast and coffee, not so great. Highly recommended!

The bedrock hotel is a great place to stay and Debbie the manager and all the staff are wonderful. The hotel is spotless and the breakfast was really nice. Good choice of western and Malaysian and buffet. If you visit Ipoh this is the place to stay

An amazing little treasure in Ipoh! I'm so glad to have found this fascinating boutique hotel owned by Debbie and her husband. She gave us a warm welcome and was so helpful with everything. The nasi lemak and white coffee at breakfast was super shiok too! It's close to the old town, and there are lots of food options all around. I highly recommend the Bedrock Hotel if you're travelling to Ipoh.

Very nice place with terrific staff and owners (they recommended a spa and helped with the arrangements and transportation and recommendation was spot on). A little bit of a walk to the Old Town and in the heat, that matters.

Best place in Ipoh for a stay.

Their king size bed feels much bigger than the usual king size, which is awesome!

Love their Nasi Lemak at breakfast, especially the chilli! Delicious! Don’t forget to grab an apple/ orange on your way out after breakfast!

Conveniently located hotel with large rooms in good renovated condition. The proprietress Debbie is very friendly and gives excellent recommendations.

Big, spacious, clean rooms, well decorated and nice ambience. TV wasn't working but excellent place for a night's stay or two. Quiet environment.

Luxurious cozy clean comfortable and spacious room
Has everything a traveller needs for comfort and more including a hot cold water dispenser and a coffee machine. Toilet has a bidet and a lovely clean bath tub in addition to a rain shower!

Breakfast provided was good too!

The highlights were the superb bedroom with a very comfortable bed, power shower and so much space. A free room safe, a coffee machine and plenty of storage options. We also found the staff were super friendly giving us great advice and cheerful greetings.
The only negative was the limited breakfast choices
