Clean, very comfortable place to use as a base to explore Devon.
Pros:

The location and the room we had with our own outdoor space was fabulous.

Cons:

The prices in the bar were very expensive. The restaurant had a very limited menu that, although very tasty was over priced especially given the portion sizes.

Great room, would stay again.
Pros:

Had a tub and comfy bed. Parking was available and easy access to the pub and restaurant. Breakfast was nice too.

Cons:

The coffee machine in the room broke after the 1st cups. It would have been nice to have it explained how breakfast worked before that morning. We had cold food on plates before they told us about ordering a hot breakfast.

Great base for Cornish Coast
Pros:

On site parking and a hearty breakfast.
Walking distance to good sites and food place especially Harry’s Bar

Cons:

No elevator and having to lug cases up stairs.
The shower had good pressure but no curtain or door making it very wet and slippery.

Great hotel, restaurant slightly let it down
Pros:

We have been visiting this hotel for 3 years always friendly, always clean and food amazing. This year we had the best room, lovely view and very comfortable

Cons:

It felt a bit off this year in the restaurant in the evening. One of the meals last night was wrong, when we mentioned it we were told what we ordered was not in the menu and we ate it so it couldn’t be wrong! We also ordered a liquor coffee which arrived thrown on the table, it was an Americano with liquor in it, no cream, no glass. This morning we ordered another coffee which we didn’t get, we had to go back to our room for a coffee. Sad, left a bad taste to a great weekend

Not a 4/5*
Pros:

Great location, room and bed big, lovely and clean, staff very helpful and nice.
Parking was great, easy to find.

Cons:

Blinds/curtains inadequate, room way too hot (23-24 degrees) with inadequate/noisy air-conditioning.
Food was very average, I’d probably eat in Exeter next time.

Wie können es sehr weiterempfehlen.
Pros:
