Important information:

Minor works to complete the Exeter flood defense scheme will continue outside the property during the autumn/winter of 2019 and 2020 which can involve contractors working in close proximity to the garden/river elevation of the building. The property anticipate there only being a minor impact on the view from the room. Works usually only take place Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00 and 18:00.

Please note that Headweir Mill House does not have air conditioning as it is a listed building in a conservation area.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Very comfortable bed and good room amenities

Exceptional.
Pros:

Beautiful spot on the river Exe (hence the name 🤓) such a delight sitting in their lovely garden watching the sun go down. Room was perfectly decorated with complimentary drinks and I was in a room with a small courtyard garden which was great. I was travelling solo and they kindly brought my supper to my room, all in all a fantastic experience. Special mention to Kwesi (sorry if I spelt it wrong) who was so helpful. I’ve even booked another night next month.

Tolle Lage direkt an der Exe. Schönes Restaurant und Biergarten dabei. Geräumiges Zimmer. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Zimmer.

Cons:

Mit Zimmerpreis bezahltes Frühstück enthielt weder Toast noch Eierspeisen.

Peaceful and safe. Staff could not do enough for you. The room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The outside veranda does need to be weeded and the window on that space could do with a clean but this did not spoil our stay.
