Hotel Druk

GOOD LOCATION. GOOD AMENITIES IN ROOM. CENTRALLY LOCATED

Druk is an excellent facility located at the heart of Phuntsholing, next to immigration office.

The facilities at the hotel are top class. The rooms were very well maintained and clean. Bathrooms are also kept very well.

Restaurant served good food with varieties.

We had a bad instance with the restaurant which I want to highlight. We visited the restaurant with my kids (2 yr and 7 yr) and typical of any kids, they made bit of noise in the restaurant. One of the staff came to my elder daughter and shouted which was totally unexpected and unwanted. He should have told us (parents) first and not to kids.

This entirely spoilt the mood for us and my daughter started weeping very badly. We walked out of the restaurant without eating.

Probably restaurant staff need some training on how to talk to customers.

For the price paid I don’t expect to see a dead cockroach in the room. Secondly they wake me up at 10.45 pm to confirm what organisation I work for because I left that blank in the form during check in. Now for check out they are asking me to pay for extra bed though my booking clearly is for 2 adults and 1 child and I remember thr rates were diff for 2 adults Vs 3 adults while booking. This issue I guess is due to Expedia and maybe not hotel. But I’m general the stay is disappointing. Damp rooms. Worn out flooring. Damp wash rooms. Can’t come back here for sure and won’t recommend also. Ok for a 2500 kind of price but not ok for someone who spent 5700/.

Hotel Druk was comfortable, staff professional and helpful, rooms very comfortable, location most ideal in Phuentsholling. Enjoyed our stay, I request that the Hotel consider to offer complimentary breakfast for all guests. Thanks
