Very quiet hotel set in large grounds, primarily catering to local tourists. Nevertheless, we felt very welcome and comfortable during our stay, and there are English-speaking staff. The rooms are large and offer stunning views of the lake. The interior décor looks a little worn in places, but it is clean. Breakfast is crowded but good, and a driver is essential for exploring the nearby national park.
Beautiful
Atta Lakeside Khaoyai has a very relaxing atmosphere with beautiful surroundings by the lake—perfect for a peaceful getaway. However, staff service was just average, not as attentive or memorable as expected. Overall still a good stay thanks to the serene environment.
Suites with room service options at the Lakeside Resort are a very good option for safaris and hiking Khao Yai National Park. It was a good location, clean, comfortable and sizeable accommodation, reasonable laundry service and an excellent breakfast buffet. Four and a half stars.
We picked atta Lakeside Resort mainly for its prime location, which proved to be an excellent decision. My partner and I stayed for just one night, not expecting too much—but we were pleasantly surprised from the moment we arrived.
Our check-in experience was effortless, highlighted by the warm and attentive staff who consistently put guests at ease.
Our spotless room had everything we needed, and the exceptionally comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep. The excellent soundproofing meant we didn't hear any outside noise, and the heavy curtains helped create a cozy, restful atmosphere.
Our stay was truly enjoyable; we'd love to come back.
Stunning views
This is a beautiful tranquil place , hotel perfect . Highly recommend
Truly 5* in all aspects. Beautiful huge property with the rooms surrounding a lake, giving great views in the day. But don't worry about the size of the area, they have buggies to shuttle guests around. Our 2 bedroom suite was a huge comfy space, a master bedroom with a huge bathroom that comes with a luxurious bathtub. The other bedroom had 2 single beds with an attached bathroom with a standing shower but still spacious. Huge sofa in the living room (which can possibly sleep another person) and a dining table, all in between the 2 rooms. Everything is well maintained and clean, mini bar all inclusive, it's funny how they continue stocking the fridge even when we didn't drink any. I love the open wardrobe concept. Wished they had a full length mirror in the Twin-bed room though.
The breakfast spread is good, a wide variety including live stations for eggs and congee and cuisines ranging from local Thai to international. They also have an extended selection on the weekends including a noodles live station. The pool, right beside the breakfast restaurant is a little small but enough to keep the kids occupied. The water is perpetually cold regardless of the time of the day. Staff here are excellent, always full of smiles, friendly and welcoming, from front desk to the buggy drivers, to the servers at breakfast.
Certainly my choice hotel if I ever return to Khaoyai.
Nestled against the backdrop of Khao Yai's lush mountains and overlooking a serene lake, this boutique property perfectly balances luxury with nature. The architecture seamlessly blends contemporary design with natural elements, creating spaces that feel both sophisticated and comfortably organic. From the moment we arrived, the property's peaceful atmosphere enveloped us, offering a welcome respite from the chaos of Bustling Bangkok! The attention to detail throughout the resort - from the carefully curated interior design to the thoughtful amenities - elevated the entire experience beyond my expectations.
LOCATION: The resort's location is ideal - just a short drive from Khao Yai National Park yet conveniently close to local attractions. The property is situated in a quiet area with stunning mountain views, making it perfect for nature lovers seeking tranquility. It's approximately 2.5 hours from Bangkok, and while somewhat secluded, it's just a short drive to Pak Chong's restaurants, the famous Khao Yai wineries, and various tourist spots. The lakeside setting creates a picturesque environment that changes beautifully throughout the day.
DINE + DRINK: The on-site restaurant offers an impressive menu of Thai and international cuisine using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. I particularly enjoyed their breakfast spread with both Western and Thai options - the fresh pastries and tropical fruit selection were standouts. The lakeside dining area provides a stunning backdrop for meals, especially during sunset. For evening drinks, the outdoor terrace by the lake is perfect for unwinding with a cocktail while enjoying the mountain breeze.
ROOM: We stayed in Room 4205, which was a ONE-BEDROOM SUITE, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough with a large LIVING area with huge TV as well a huge Bed room area; VIEW: Sweet view of the Lake and Lush greenery from the HUGE BALCONY attached to the room which proved to be our lounge for the evening festivities!; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Very stylish and huge bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Excellent spa-quality toiletries
FACILITIES: Very decent Gym with a good range of weights and Cardio machines for a nice workout. The INFINITY pool is lovely and comes loaded with spectacular views of the lake! They also have a good SPA on-site
SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of and pampered!
HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TVs(one in each area of the suite) dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment in multiple languages
Jap Restarant prices quite stiff. Staff n response are commendable
Too much insect n cricket at ground floor. Bf daily same should change done on daily basis. 3 days stay.
I recently stayed at Atta Khao-yai and was quite happy with my experience. The rooms are definitely very spacious, which was a big plus. I had a garden side room, and it was nice to have that little bit of outdoor area. The cleanliness of the room was excellent
If you are looking for a hotel with comfortable, large rooms in Khao-yai, Atta Khao-yai is worth considering.
Awesome chillax place
The property is too high density and noisy for my liking, is you’re looking for peaceful experience this place doesn’t qualify….
Free mini bar
This is the second time we have stayed at Atta and I'm sure it won't be our last! The hotel is in a beautiful location with rooms overlooking the lake and hills in the background. We stayed in a 2 bed apartment which was stylish and spacious with a kitchenette, dining table and large sofa and TV in the entrance room with a bedroom either side, both with large bathrooms, master bedroom with bath and shower, twin room with shower only. There was a large balcony outside with sofa and another dining table for Al fresco dining. On arrival reception staff were helpful and quick with the check in process and gave us a delicious cold welcome drink. Breakfast was good, in an outdoors covered space by the lake, lots of variety and choice. Impossible to not feel relaxed here!
Hotel is clean and big. It is a good place to stay if you are looking for a quite, serene and large living space.
This is my second time staying at this property. As one of the guests could not make it for the trjp as she was not fit for flying and had to be hospitalised, the hotel refused to make exceptions for amendments to the booking for the emergency situation.
It doesn't hurt to show some empathy.
We stayed at the resort as we wanted to visit Khao Yai National Park. The resort is a short 15 minute drive away from the Park entrance.
We organised a private transfer from Bangkok Airport with Thai National Parks and our guide was waiting at the hotel when we arrived. We were greeted promptly at reception who organised for our bags to be stored whilst we toured the park.
When we returned at 6pm we were shown to our room where our bags were waiting. The room was surprisingly spacious with a large bedroom and bathroom, kitchenette, dining and seating area. We liked the modern decor in the room and the fantastic balcony with a view directly over the lake which we would see in the morning.
After a long journey followed by a day in the park we were looking forward to a hot shower and good night's sleep and the resort room provided both. The resort also provided free soft drinks and snacks in the minibar.
The setting of the resort is beautiful and tranquil. Breakfast is served next to the lake and offered a good selection of Asian and European items.
The only disappointment was the Japanese restaurant which we dined in for dinner. The food was quite expensive and the quality poor. The cocktails were tiny and not very well made despite the high price. The menu options were limited and the dishes were poorly described. The steak meal turned out to be a noodle soup type dish. Given the standard of the resort the restaurant was a let down.
Overall however we really liked the resort and would have been happy to spend several nights there as one night didn't give us enough time to fully enjoy the property.
Great resort and great breakfast!!!! Room (#7102) was always our preferred room for at least 4-5 times. The building is next to the front desk and very close to the restaurant. Great lakeview and a landscape for you to enjoy a chill atmosphere during the night especially this time of the year. Breakfast was always fantastic and always up to their standard. In-room Wi-Fi was very strong and the room was cleaned
Beautifully landscaped property with fantastic dining options and a great golf course on your doorstep.
Lovely quaint property with great views of the lake and spacious rooms. Food options were affordable and tasted really good, particularly the Thai restaurant. Will come back again
