3. Inadequate, narrow car park.
4. Unnecessary curbs on going up and down in lifts. Very inconvenient.
5. Did not give all our rooms on one floor despite repeated requests.
6.. Very poor intercommunication in the hotel. First they refused Genius free breakfast, then agreed at the reception, but did not pass it on to the restaurant, which caused a lot of confusion.
6. The generator does not operate lifts.
7. For some time today, there was not water in the toilet. Very stressing.
8. When power went off, their telephone lines also went dead.
I will consider it a dangerous place to stay in.

Whether it was providing information, ensuring comfort, or going the extra mile to make the stay convenient, his support truly made a difference. His polite behavior and dedication to guest satisfaction reflect positively on the hotel’s service standards.
The overall ambiance of the hotel is calm and suitable for both business and leisure travelers. The housekeeping team also deserves appreciation for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene consistently.

Despite the issues we experienced, there were a few positive aspects worth mentioning. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained. Its location is excellent, with several good cafés and popular tourist attractions conveniently located nearby, which made it easy to explore the area. The staff members we interacted with were also polite and courteous throughout our stay.
**Review of Our Stay (8–11 March 2026)**
I’m disappointed to say that our stay at this property did not meet the expectations one would reasonably have from a 4-star hotel.
**Check-in Experience**
Our first issue began on 8 March during check-in. I understand that the hotel was fully booked, but we had made our reservation weeks in advance. We arrived at the hotel around 12:30 PM and dropped our luggage, expecting that our room would be ready shortly after the standard check-in time. When we returned at approximately 2:15 PM, we were still asked to wait and were only assigned a room around 3:00 PM. For a pre-booked stay, this level of delay felt unnecessary and poorly managed.
**Air Conditioning Issue**
Unfortunately, the room we were assigned on the first floor had a malfunctioning air conditioner. With outside temperatures around 38°C, the AC would not cool the room below 26°C. We reported the issue multiple times within the first few hours of check-in. While the staff assured us that it would be repaired promptly and that our room would be changed if necessary, nothing was actually resolved for several hours.
Around 9:00 PM, someone came to check the unit, removed the air filter, and asked us to wait to see if that might fix the problem. It did not. As a result, we spent the entire night in an uncomfortably hot room, unable to sleep.
The next morning we raised the issue again and were told that a solution would be arranged by 10:00 AM. Unfortunately, that did not happen either. After repeatedly following up and requesting assistance, our room was finally changed at around 1:00 PM.
**Issues in the Replacement Room**
While the new room itself was acceptable, it turned out to be a twin-bed room where two single beds had been pushed together to make one. Considering the room was booked for a couple, this again felt disappointing and not quite appropriate for the type of stay we had reserved.

Location: this was the only good thing about this place. We were visiting Ahmedabad University and this was less than a kilometer from it.
Room: very small. No paper napkins. Tea cups chipped. Very small closet. Hardly any space for bags. No sofa. Just one small table about 1 foot in diameter.
Food: Terrible. We ordered Soup, Salad and pasta for lunch. We could not eat anything. Salad was just lettuce and croutons. Croutons were smelling. Tomato soup tasted nothing like it. Breakfast was horrible. Everything was hard / overcooked. Even khandvi, dhokla etc were hard. Khandvi was like sausage. We didn’t even bother having breakfast on 2nd morning and in spite of the fact that breakfast was included in price we decided to step out and eat at nearby restaurant.
Staff. Horrible. Front desk staff seem depressed. Don’t smile at all. Pretty must all customers were angry with them. We observed same pattern while checking in and when checking out. Charged us for the food in spite of the fact we informed them how bad the food was and we discarded all of it and that we didn’t eat the prepaid breakfast on 2nd morning.
This is not even a two star properly. Booking.com should review the star rating. It is misleading.
Good property, clean and hygeinic
The stay was amazing but that wouldn't have been possible without the helpful staff! They are very helpful and friendly. In terms of facilities - good room sizes with comfortable amenities. Food is amazing, that's a plus too.
Buffet could have a bit more variation but taste and quality vise it was good.

I am writing to formally escalate a complaint regarding our recent stay at Regenta Central Antarim, Ahmedabad, which was booked via Booking.com.
Unfortunately, the overall experience fell significantly below the standards expected of a 4-star property, particularly as we were travelling with elderly parents and young children and had communicated our needs in advance.
Prior to arrival, I contacted the hotel to request that our two rooms be located close to each other due to our late-night arrival and family circumstances. Despite this, my parents were initially allocated a room on a different floor. The staff member handling their check-in was not particularly helpful in resolving this, and they were initially provided only one key card. The first room allocated had multiple issues, including a non-functioning kettle and fridge, and was reportedly not clean, requiring escalation before they were moved.
My parents also requested a room service menu but were told to download it themselves. As elderly guests who are not tech-savvy, they struggled with this and no alternative assistance (such as a printed menu) was offered.
When we arrived later that night (after a late flight with children), the hotel restaurant was closed. When we asked reception for nearby child-friendly dining options, we received minimal guidance and had to find food ourselves late at night.
Several issues then continued throughout the stay:
• Dirty towels provided (photographic evidence available)
• Insufficient towels on arrival
• Severely worn mattresses in the family room, with deep dips and springs causing significant discomfort (photo/video evidence available)
• Persistent loud banging from above throughout the day and late into the night (video evidence available). We were later informed this was due to building work above our floor.
• A major water supply issue the following morning initially extremely hot water only, followed by no water and could not flush the toilet
