Location: this was the only good thing about this place. We were visiting Ahmedabad University and this was less than a kilometer from it.
Room: very small. No paper napkins. Tea cups chipped. Very small closet. Hardly any space for bags. No sofa. Just one small table about 1 foot in diameter.
Food: Terrible. We ordered Soup, Salad and pasta for lunch. We could not eat anything. Salad was just lettuce and croutons. Croutons were smelling. Tomato soup tasted nothing like it. Breakfast was horrible. Everything was hard / overcooked. Even khandvi, dhokla etc were hard. Khandvi was like sausage. We didn’t even bother having breakfast on 2nd morning and in spite of the fact that breakfast was included in price we decided to step out and eat at nearby restaurant.
Staff. Horrible. Front desk staff seem depressed. Don’t smile at all. Pretty must all customers were angry with them. We observed same pattern while checking in and when checking out. Charged us for the food in spite of the fact we informed them how bad the food was and we discarded all of it and that we didn’t eat the prepaid breakfast on 2nd morning.
This is not even a two star properly. Booking.com should review the star rating. It is misleading.
Good property, clean and hygeinic
The stay was amazing but that wouldn't have been possible without the helpful staff! They are very helpful and friendly. In terms of facilities - good room sizes with comfortable amenities. Food is amazing, that's a plus too.
Buffet could have a bit more variation but taste and quality vise it was good.

I am writing to formally escalate a complaint regarding our recent stay at Regenta Central Antarim, Ahmedabad, which was booked via Booking.com.
Unfortunately, the overall experience fell significantly below the standards expected of a 4-star property, particularly as we were travelling with elderly parents and young children and had communicated our needs in advance.
Prior to arrival, I contacted the hotel to request that our two rooms be located close to each other due to our late-night arrival and family circumstances. Despite this, my parents were initially allocated a room on a different floor. The staff member handling their check-in was not particularly helpful in resolving this, and they were initially provided only one key card. The first room allocated had multiple issues, including a non-functioning kettle and fridge, and was reportedly not clean, requiring escalation before they were moved.
My parents also requested a room service menu but were told to download it themselves. As elderly guests who are not tech-savvy, they struggled with this and no alternative assistance (such as a printed menu) was offered.
When we arrived later that night (after a late flight with children), the hotel restaurant was closed. When we asked reception for nearby child-friendly dining options, we received minimal guidance and had to find food ourselves late at night.
Several issues then continued throughout the stay:
• Dirty towels provided (photographic evidence available)
• Insufficient towels on arrival
• Severely worn mattresses in the family room, with deep dips and springs causing significant discomfort (photo/video evidence available)
• Persistent loud banging from above throughout the day and late into the night (video evidence available). We were later informed this was due to building work above our floor.
• A major water supply issue the following morning initially extremely hot water only, followed by no water and could not flush the toilet
Amenities were provided.
The check-in and check-out procedures were extremely slow. I was made to wait about 30 minutes when I checked in and was asked to sign documents belonging to other guests. When I checked out, I was given a receipt belonging to another guest, so I complained.
The hotel was decorated very well and the rooms & bathrooms were very modern. The bed were very comfortable and the bathroom showers were very spacious and one of our favourite features. We really enjoyed our stay here.
The cupboard doors didn’t close properly so there were a light that couldn’t turn off

Inspite of mentioning non-smoking room, they showed us smoking room and haven’t behaved in proper way.
