Staff were excellent and attentive. Included breakfast was lovely and included soft drinks were very helpful - saved having to find water etc.
Lovely charming boutique hotel, very friendly staff. really thoughtful little gifts given during stay and nice to see support for local artists/businesses through this. Note issues with noise mentioned in previous reviews- we stayed in room 10 in the courtyard and weren't bothered by this at all and only heard the birds earlier in the morning which was quite pleasant. Breakfast included fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, tea, coffee and a selection of bread with the option for eggs etc at an additional but reasonable cost. location was very central.
Perhaps blinds instead of wooden shutters in windows for a little more light in the room but it did keep with the aesthetic and didn't really bother us as we didn't spend much time in the room regardless

Location - Excellent, very close and walkable to all the main attractions (Zocalo, Cathedral, Museum) and other activities in the town centres. Plenty of eating options around. Staff and their services were outstanding, very attentive and always willing to help guests. Room/Facilities - Our room although it was small for a family of 3, it was cosy, comfortable and was very aesthetically done. The whole property was very clean, beautiful, well kept/maintained and tranquil. We felt at home and peaceful. While Nana Vida met/exceeded my expectations in many areas, I wanted to really call out the few nice/thoughtful gestures from the hotel mgmt for guests. On arrival, we received a bar of organic soap (flavour of our choice) each as welcome gift and a bottle of chilled water/cool drink. Likewise, while departing, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a traditional Oaxaca silk top as a take home gift/souvenir from the front desk staff. Such small gestures make you feel special and creates happy memories. One more very thoughtful/useful act from mgmt/staff that I would like to call out, given it was the hot season, the front desk staff always checked on guests going in/out of the property and handed in chilled mineral water bottles every time. Keep up your outstanding service and hospitality Nana Vida Mgmt and Staff !!!!!!
Breakfast - Definitely an area of improvement, the start time needs to be moved forward to 7.00 am at least. As tourists/guests travelling from other parts of the world, we rise early due to time zone differences/ jet lag/tours booked in the morning, the hotel needs to anticipate/cater to such guests needs. While I appreciate the gesture of a fruit plate, drinks (coffee, tea etc) and bread being offered to all guests complimentary, the hotel also needs to think about offering the guests an option to include hot breakfast as part of the online booking itself and not pay separately.

The property used to be a private house with a spectacular courtyard and seating area. Humberto and the team were 200% attentive giving as gifts of local handcraft products. Rooms great size, very comfortable bed with every need attended.

This was an extraordinary place. The historic building and the courtyard are absolutely beautiful, and having breakfast there in the morning felt serene. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, very clean, and thoughtfully designed with a strong appreciation for local culture and artists. The location is ideal - everything is easily walkable, super close to the center, yet surprisingly quiet. You can hear birds sing in the mornings. Also, all staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and you can really feel the attention to detail everywhere. There were always drinks and sweets available, and even a farewell gift, which was a lovely touch. It was truly a special stay, and I would absolutely recommend it.

We loved the staff—they were incredibly welcoming and kind throughout our stay. The hotel was very clean, and the room was perfect for two people.
We had a great stay and didn’t have any complaints. We did misplace a charger, and the staff was incredibly attentive and even offered to help cover the cost, which we really appreciated.
