Loved NaNa Vida--especially the staff!
Pros:

BEST customer service and staff--incredibly friendly and no request seemed to be too much. They were truly lovely. The courtyard was beautiful and had a lovely Oaxacan feel. Breakfast was perfect. Great location for walking to everything.

Cons:

The room was very nice but the bathroom could have been larger.

Pros:

Fantastic hotel with really lovely, helpful staff. It’s well located and the rooms are all around a central courtyard in the middle of the block, so very quiet despite being in the centre of town. Our room was comfortable.

They arranged a driver for us at one day’s notice over a weekend, which meant we could get out and see a couple of palenques and some of the weavers in Teotitlán del Valle.

Lovely place!
Pros:

The room was lovely, the staff were excellent and it was an easy walk to anywhere we wanted to go

Cons:

Parking was more difficult than we were told and required making an international bank transfer.

Welcome to departure. I won’t ruin the surprise but it was lovely and hospitable. Located across from a laundromat which was convenient and small mini marts for miscellaneous goods. The hotel also provided us with a coffee carafe for early morning coffee

Cons:

The rooms are set up around a central courtyard which is atmospheric but also depends on the largess and calm of other guests. If they are noisy, you can hear everything but the hotel does provide complimentary ear plugs and a sound machine. This was not an issue during our stay

Lovely staff, comfortable rooms, good value
Pros:

Every staff person was fabulous ~ authentically caring and helpful. They really do operate as a team of one accord, and that’s to take care of their guests. Rooms are nice and beds are comfortable. Doves begin cooing at 5 am. in the courtyard. Some guests will find it soothing and others may find it irritating. I enjoyed it.

Pros:

El complejo en sí es precioso, y está muy bien cuidado. El personal ha sido en todo momento increíblemente amable, atento y educado. Regalos de bienvenida y despedida, y un trato realmente cordial. Súper recomendable.

Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.
Pros:

Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und vorausschauend. Ich reise viel, aber in keinem Hotel hat man mir noch eine Flasche Wasser angeboten, damit man unterwegs etwas zu trinken hat. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und dennoch ist es nicht laut. Uns hat auch das Konzept des Hotels gefallen: lokale Künstler und ihr Kunsthandwerk zu fördern. Die Zimmer sind mit lokal angefertigten Möbel und Accessoires (Lampen, Stuhl, Bild, Bettvorleger...) ausgestattet.

Cons:

Das einzige was ich mir vielleicht gewünscht hätte, wäre ein Vorhang für die Zimmer die direkt in den Garten schauen. Die Fenster sind groß, man kann sie jedoch nicht aufmachen, da sonst jeder in das Zimmer sieht.
