I get the cost, but it proves there is less value than ever.
Pros:

The staff was nice, parking was fairly easy.

Cons:

I booked a deluxe queen room but was given double beds. The reminiscent stench of smoke was strong and the room was a bit dusty. The bathroom door was off balance and made a loud noise when open and closed. There are much better for just a tad more around town.

I like the fact that bringing my animal is acceptable without a fee… gives a peace of mind for the long road trip.

Cons:

Arriving to the Hotel and being told that I needed to hand-pay cash a $100 deposit fee before I can get my key (I prepaid online a day before with a credit card). I was told that it’s due to certain area codes causing damages to room. Understood, but wouldn’t take a credit card to put on my file for the room.
There’s not a single paper in the lobby these things “New Changes” behind a desk, yes but nobody can see a tiny piece of paper that faces to the workers ONLY!

Pros:

Location to restaurants and family good to be on bottom level and by the ice machine

Cons:

The beds were not very comfortable on that platform base and was really soft . Room was pretty bare no Kleenex etc. was clean

The shower was nice although it didn't come with any complimentary shampoo or conditioner.

Cons:

I checked in at 1 in the morning and at 1130 they came saying I had to check out I didn't understand why when I had just checked in the lady said that was my checkout I was confused she said because I checked in before 5 I was technically paying for the night before, staff didn't tell me any of that at the time of check in that i would have to check out at 11 the same morning I checked in. So I had to pay twice for the same room instead of being understanding to their employees mistake and letting me just keep my room for my full reservation. I will not be staying at motel 6 ever again nor will I recommend it ever again.
