Bluebird Hotel

Breakfast was a joke, toast and over boiled eggs ....nothing sanitized, coffee was nasty , dont recommend eating anything there . Rooms meh ok , shower very touching one minute your burning next freezing , in a pinch in ok place . Wont go back

The staff person was friendly and, accommodating about us checking in a bit early, the room was clean, location was in a safe area,

It’s was a very good check in. Staff was wonderful. Just a lot of construction.

room smelled and had bugs

While booking my trip I mistakenly booked two hotels on the same night. My booking agent couldn’t seem to change the dates for me but when I arrived at the Bluebird hotel the manager was extremely nice and had everything fixed up in a couple minutes. I would definitely recommend the Bluebird hotel in Melfort.

Tired and old

Very dated don’t recommend for people with allergies due to old shag carpeting and faint smell of cigarette smoke

Looks like they are slowly renovating. .
Beds were comfortable.

The hotel is very dated. Staff do a good job of keeping it clean. But old carpet, chairs, bedding .

Aircondition is not working and fan is very loud, breakfast is just a coffee

Weeds were around entrance. At check in ceiling tiles looked like they were about to fall in. Bathroom door did not close in the room.

Old and tired. Needs updating

The photos do not show the true state of the building. Our ceiling was peeling in the corner and there was clearly mold underneath. The carpet was shag and sticky if you weren’t wearing socks. The ‘aquatic courtyard’ has clearly been closed for years, and the billiard room should have been condemned with moldy balls and billiard tables from the collapsed and water bulging ceiling! We even found about a dozen hard boiled eggs left out overnight at a continental breakfast no one should ever touch. I wish I could attach photos of the true state of affairs. Multiple members of our family stayed here for a wedding in nearby St Brieux. We will laugh about this in the future I’m sure.

It’s what you’d expect for the price and the location. The pool and hot tub were out of service.

Needs to be remodeled

The breakfast supplies were inadequate
No coffee grounds available to make coffee, about 100 ml of milk left for the cereal, hard boiled eggs had not been cooked long enough and were still liquid in the centre

It was good and easy parking ,

Bed needs replacement and the room could use improvements
Ie flooring paint/pictures on wall

Older property but great price.
Simple continental breakfast but it was adequate toast coffee juices milk cereal boiled eggs

If you're looking for a place to sleep with clean rooms, it's fine. Continental breakfast is: cereal, toast and boiled eggs, that's it. This is NOT staffed 24 hours. Very dated, and thankfully fast food and restaurants nearby. Swimming pool is closed. Some rooms leak during rain storm. Outside of building and area have not been maintained.
