Very comfortable, charming hosts, very clean throughout.
Pros:

Fabulous location and character property. Great sea view for breakfast. Freshly cooked breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

Car got covered in seagull poo! Bar closed at 5pm.

I was fortunate to choose a wonderful place to stay, and I consider that the best part of my visit to Shanklin.
Pros:

Location, Cleanliness of facilities, lobby design, hotel security, and staff courtesy.

Cons:

There is no elevator.

Lovely setting, good breakfast, but couldn't sleep
Pros:

Location was beautiful. Sea view from window was lovely. Staff were nice and pleasant. Breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

Mattress was quite firm and tired/saggy. It was very uncomfortable for me and I barely slept. We had booked for 2 nights, but decided to leave after the 1st night as I was so tired. Manager insisted on charging us for the 2nd night, though my partner managed to negotiate 50% off. So we paid just under £300 for 1 night in a B&B with no sleep. And I was too tired to enjoy the rest of my holiday, which was then cut short.

我住的房间阳台有门，夜晚有人撬门使劲拉门把手，我们找来业主检查，但拉门人看见人出现就溜走了，导致我们整夜末睡，担心这个人再次回来撬门。希望酒店对此事件要重视起来，毕竟不是每一个客人都会去检查这个阳台门，当我入住时，这个门有一部分没有锁住，轻易可以打开，如果我没有认真检查，后果不堪设想，对此行非常失望。

Absolutely perfect!!!
Pros:

The location was perfect. Views out to sea were wonderful and the garden a lovely place to sit on a warm day to enjoy those views. Very convenient for the village as only a few minutes stroll takes you to shops/pubs/restaurants etc. The staff are the hotel’s greatest asset, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food at the onsite cafe was really good, all cooked fresh on order and the cakes were delicious. Would definitely recommend and hope to return for another visit.

Cons:

The only downside was that there is no lift and a fair few stairs which wouldn’t be ideal for guests with mobility problems but otherwise everything was excellent.
