This beautiful green apartment with balcony, nestled in a quiet hotel annex, is a true feast for the eyes and the soul. Every detail, from the curated designer furniture to the elegant balcony view make calming and cosy space. Everything was just fine. A Relaxing Stay in Zadar Old Town
Pros:

We had recently spent one relaxing night at the Almayer Art and Heritage Hotel. We were driving from Šibenik to Zagreb and decided to take a break at Zadar.

At the time of check in we were offered a choice of a Loft Room in the main building and a room (which is like a studio flat) in the Bianchini Block. We chose the Bianchini Block so we don’t have to deal with internal stairs.

The room itself is spacious, well heated, comes with all the usual amenities. The balcony looks out to a sculpture square and the Church of our Lady of Health. Quite a pleasant outlook.

The location of the hotel is excellent: it’s a short walk to the Sea Organ, Promenade, Old Town, Christmas Market etc.

Breakfast was served in the green house at the back of the main building.

Mateo whom we met at check in was very helpful and friendly.

We reserved a parking space in advance and that was a wise decision as I noticed that all the parking spaces in Zadar were all taken.

Overall we had an enjoyable stay and would recommend Almayer.
