Volcano Gold Loft

Beautiful place! The hotel is tucked up the hill on a gravel road that would be manageable in any car if you drive carefully. There is access to hiking from the hotel and nature all around.
William and staff were very helpful and always available. William can help book any kind of experience you’d like in the area and has great recommendations and advice.
Would definitely stay here again!

Volcano Gold Loft is a gem in the Costa Rica jungle. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view off the jungle, great A/C and comfortable beds. The host was phenomenal and assisted us in planning our daily itinerary. Every recommendation he made was spot on. 10/10 would recommend.

The staff was very friendly, especially the Management William was super friendly I'm recommend 100 percent of this hotel, it was an unforgettable experience.

William was out of this world kind and took us out to see a sloth up in a tree nearby.
The breakfast was good.
The pool & jacuzzi areas were nice.

The rooms were humid and smelled like moist.
We had a deluxe room ans nothing was really deluxe of it.
The cleaning people lost our room key & so our room and bed weren’t done for a day.
A bit out of La Fortuna and 1700 meters down a long unpaved road.

We LOVED our stay. The rooms have a great view of the jungle, they are very clean and comfy, and calm.
The manager, I think William was his name, really took the time to talk about our stay and the do's and don'ts of the area. He helped us plan our activities.
The road to the hotel is a bit difficult, easier to acces with small SUV.

Very nice property in middle of the jungle. A lot of nature. The access is a little complicate but you will loved. A lot of activities in the area. I’m strongly recommend this hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at the Volcano Gold Loft! Rooms were clean and the view was absolutely beautiful! The manager William was super friendly and helped my family and I decide the best activities to do during our stay. He even arranged for us to have our own personal Uber driver. 10/10 recommend!

What an amazing hotel! With only 8 rooms, this place feels like home away from home. We got a beautiful room overlooking the jungle. We woke up to nature sounds and were able to see toucans from our window.
The best part is the manager, Will. He made our stay unforgettable. We got tips for the best places to visit and he booked everything for us.
I can’t recommend a better place in La Fortuna!

Nice place and size for the price. We didn't like the gravel roads there, but it's quite common in Costa Rica.

Good breakfast and the beds are big. It is quiet and surrounded by nature. Kind of hard to find location.

A very unique location situated on a long dirt road on a hill. Not easily accessible without a good vehicle but the location is quaint, quiet, and secluded. The pool and hot tub were a nice touch but the hot tub was not easy to walk too and had to be requested to use. The breakfast that was included was decent but the prices for the dinner menu were very expensive and so were the alcoholic drinks. The receptionists were very kind and nice.

Great property to experience a local Costa Rican hotel. It was a bit noisy as our room was adjacent to the kitchen, but our entire family loved it.

Beautiful location. High end quality in a jungle oasis. It is about about a 10mins drive from down town and cab was approx $10usd each way. Very gracious staff. Nice view and privacy.
