Hôtel le Lion d'Or

A very pleasant hotel. We had a large and comfortable room, quiet and clean. Reception could have been friendlier.

There was a trouble with the shower. No water for a few minutes and next cold water...
I am sure it was not regular and not like that anymore.

Pour moi, literie à améliorer.
Même en cette période sanitaire particulière, le ménage dans ma chambre laissait à désirer... (derrière les portes)
le prix est en adéquation avec les exigences... me semble t'il.

We were generally disappointed having read positive reviews on-line. One reason for choosing the Lion d'Or was the good reviews about the restaurant. It felt as though we had arrived in the closed season. There was only one person dealing with the entire dining-room resulting in our waiting 45 minutes before receiving our starters. The food was mediocre and the service, although pleasant, was far from efficient. Our room wasn't cleaned during our two-night stay. We also had great difficulty reaching our room on the top floor via two steep and narrow flights of stairs as there was no lift. The young man who checked us in on our arrival could have offered to help with our luggage but failed to do so. The room was both hot and noisy as we had no choice but to sleep with the window open as it was unbearably hot. This resulted in us being woken by both trains and the collection of dustbins. Each morning the smell of cigarettes drifted into the room from below. On neither morning were there any plates at the breakfast buffet. Altogether a very disappointing experience.

Accueil excellent, chambre confortable manque juste un peu de clim, très propre, personnel agréable et charmant, restaurant de grande qualité. A conseiller sans hésiter.

Une nuit pour un mariage. Confortable et petit-déjeuner succulent. Personnel très aimable. Je recommande.

A traditional small hotel in France. Simple, but charming. Well kept rooms, a little noisy from the road but clean and comfortable with an excellent dinner and breakfast

Tout était réuni pour que nous passions une excellente nuit.
Notre chambre familiale était impeccable et d'une taille très agréable (en fait, 2 chambres qui peuvent très bien convenir à 2 couples partageant la même salle de bain).

Nous n'avons pas pu tester (à regret !) le restaurant mais les propriétaires nous avaient prévenus avant notre arrivée et nous avaient même réservé une table ailleurs.

Service impeccable, un accueil chaleureux et très sympathique.
Le type d'endroit où on resterait volontiers plusieurs nuits.

A recommander !


(A noter pour les cyclistes, l’hôtel dispose également d'un garage pour les vélos)

A clean, comfortable hotel and the food was very good all be it from a set menu with 3 choices.

J’ai réservé une chambre dans cet hôtel mais lors de mon arrivée pour récupérer ma clé la personne de l’accueil m’annonce que quelqu’un a déjà pris ma chambre en donnant mon nom et qu’il ne pouvait rien faire pour moi. Je m’en suis donc retrouvé sans solution car tout les hôtels du secteur etaient complet egalement j’ai donc du prendre l’an route en pleine nuit après mon rdv professionnel. Service déplorable

Séjour très agréable au calme. Le restaurant est également très bien.

L'hôtel manque de fini.mais le personnel a été respectueux. L'hôtel était fermé à notre arrivée, 16:20. Nous avons attendu 15 minutes avant d'avoir une réponse.
