Overall this hotel was a great choice, and I can understand why it is always booked!
Pros:

I enjoyed the location as my daughter is a current student with CSU Monterey Bay. Upon my arrival, the staff was very friendly and engaged in conversation. The location was clean, the free breakfast was delicious and my children loved the outdoor fire pit!

Cons:

I didnt like the limited seating for the breakfast in the morning. Also, I wish it was extended a little longer to reduce the congestion we experienced.

The pool was heated. There is a small market where you can purchase snacks and drinks. Location is great. It is near restuarants and even a mall area with a Target. The elevator didnt work when we tried to check out, but other than that it was a good hotel.
