Ok for price paid, although it was cheaper through booking.com than going direct.
Rooms nice and clean

Shower head is too low am 5.9 and had to duck to get under.
Shame that they closed the gym down

The room was very comfortable. Other areas of the hotel were spacious. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.
The food (breakfast and dinner) was of a good standard.
The only disappointing thing was the state of the windows on the ouside - very grubby

how hard the lady receptionist/ waitress tried to make things better.
I booked for 3 nights left after 2- i would have preferred to sleep in my car due to the smell
it was like staying in a mausoleum. No atmosphere it felt like i was walking into an abandoned building
very dated and in a time warp!
the bedroom absolutely stank!!! Febreze is not the solution to dirty bed linen, i coughed all night!
the evening menu was dull and boring, burnt fried food. Indian relish served as chilli jam for fishcakes??
I have stayed in many hotels with my job for20 years, and never felt it necessary to leave such a bad review but this has to be said as a waste of money, not cheap, awful food and smelly unhealthy bedrooms.

Free & plentiful car parking spaces, Inc disability parking spaces, which we required.
Excellent breakfast options, freshly cooked & high quality produce along with continental breakfast options if required.
Allocated smoking areas outside of the hotel building.
Large room, large bathroom & very large comfortable double bed.
Low amounts of coffee & tea options in room (if you travelling as a couple).
No usb charging point in room, but plenty of electric sockets within the room.
Building/Hotel has become slightly dated, especially for the 2 night price that we paid.
These are minor points, but an honest review & we would return if we needed to stay in that area again, but would lookout for a slightly better price overall.
