Great, perfect value for money
Pros:

Really great in every respect.
Super smooth and convenient remote check in. The room has everything you need for 1-2 nights including a fridge, teapot and hairdryer.
Very central and still very very quiet which is quite untypical for the city centre (at least my room)

Hot and excellent.
Pros:

This is a great budget Hostal with on suite, hot water, clean towels and beds, aircon, fridge, comfy beds, daily cleaners if you want them. The location is perfect. Unless you are looking for luxury with room service, Hostal San Francisco will not disappoint.

Cons:

The lift was out of commission and in August not easy to get engineers to repair. Feel fitter for the use of the stairs, so a win win situation. NB We were offered full rebate and alternative dates, but we declined and stayed on the reservation, with no regrets.
