Very enjoyable, great location, excellent standard and good value.
Pros:

Breakfast - food & space were well prepared - service was swift.
Dinner - as above but see below regarding choices on the menu.
Room - was excellent, spacious and with a great view.

Cons:

Dinner menu - when staying for four nights (or more), it would have been prefereable to have just a few more choices.
If the bar space had more places to sit, it would encourage at least visitors who don't know each other to some conversation, and add a little more to the generally friendly atmosphere.

First class and we will be back before the year is out
Pros:

Breakfast was beautiful as it always is and the staff are so friendly and welcoming..nothing is a problem to them .they are exceptional..

Cons:

We could not complain about one thing everything was perfect that is why we stay there at least 2 times a year and it's the only place we go to for a break away

Lovely location for a break away from city living
Pros:

Staff members were so friendly and kind. Lovely residents bar area outside of the main bar with comfy seating where we could listen to the live music from afar and admire all the historic photos on the walls.

Comfortable and relaxing in beautiful valley.
Pros:

Location is fantastic and hotel is beautiful and historic. We had a lovely meal and buffet breakfast very good. Staff were welcoming and really helpful.
