Pros:

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Shower not working in the room . Had to use another room and go to breakfast first while waiting . Breakfast was very poor. Had obviously been prepared early and reheated.

The both of us enjoyed it nice spot

Well when we booked it we expected to stay in the hotel not the motel so a bit disappointed about that. But overall it was ok

Great food and service
Pros:

We went to the hotel with two friends for Mothers Day lunch. We certainly weren’t disappointed. In our group we had a prawn cocktail, deep fried Brie and pork belly bites for starters .Clean plates all around. Our mains were so tasty accompanied by loads of freshly cooked vegetables. Although the hotel was incredibly busy service was efficient and friendly.
Thank you everyone , we had a lovely afternoon and look forward to a return visit.
Oh one last thing, the men folk said the Irish coffees were amazing and Jonah is a great member of staff.

Staff was very friendly a bit dated but all in all perfect for short stay
Pros:

Was within walking distance to restaurants and castle very friendly staff

Cons:

Our room was Freezing. There was an issue with heating working. They did move us to another room which was smaller but as it turned out, very warm.

Put people with the dogs altogether not beside people that wants a quiet place
Pros:

It was beautiful, clean and very tidy

Cons:

Having people with dogs next door, the dog bark when any one made a noise and we went for a quiet night

Stayed with my parents as my mum was going to the SWAH for hip op.

Staff were absolutely fantastic. Michael, Jade, Amy and Neila were so attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure my mum was comfortable before and after her op, especially Michael 😃 Thank you all 🙏

Rooms were lovely, food was fantastic and cocktails were delicious. I especially enjoyed the varied breakfast menu and the Gin Bramble .

Cons:

Some constructive criticism - portion size of meals were huge. I imagine this might create unnecessary waste and deter people from ordering a further course. Maybe reduce by a third? Rooms were very warm also, but this might be necessary for international visitors.

Pros:

Distance from the town centre, easy to get in and out of town. Plentiful parking and all the staff where likely, the girl at reception and breakfast where very friendly

Cons:

The bed was on the smaller side, personally I would had preferred a king size. I found it hard to sleep comfortably. Also the bedroom was quite small and the bathroom was on the larger side

Cons:

I booked 2 rooms and the heating wasent working in neather of the rooms and I called the reception and told them the heating wasent working and they said it would be sorted with in the hour and it wasent it was absolutely freezing cold so I'm not gonna give them a good review rating
