Hotel Paradise Suites

Everything was as expected, great location, large room, pool was small but clean. Our next to last day though the power went out across the island and we were left without power, ac, flushing toilets for nearly 12 hours. We heard from another guest that this was a scheduled outage for a large part of the island. I can understand this is something out of their control however my frustration stems from the lack of communication. We heard about this from another guest. I was able to reach out by text but no additional information was able to be provided. There was no generator, no candles, way to charge our phone or anything provided (it went past dark). If we had been told it would have allowed us to make other arrangements, being our last night we would have moved to the mainland.

Water never got hot, even after 2 requests to fix it. Ended up in, since it was extremely hot outside, but, hot water sill would have been nice. Excellent location. Close to beach and night life, restraunts, market.

So close to the beach and the bed is very comfortable ! Will come back again

Our family had a lovely stayed & would definitely stay again if we’re revisiting Isla MUJERES.
The location is perfect for the main beach & room are spacious with kitchen.

Bed was comfortable. Towels and bed linen were crunchy-sun dried. No restaurant facilities or front desk on site. Okay stay for the excellent location-walking distance to playa norte.

This place was a gem.Alex the manager was a pleasure. Room was very clean and spacious . Had everything you needed kitchen with fridge ,microwave,hot plate.dishes ,blender coffee pot. We only used the fridge but everything was there. They even had the big jug of water so you didn’t have to buy any. Beds were comfortable and a/c worked great. Your front patio had a table and chairs plus a sofa.out your back door you had a clothes line to hang up wet clothes. They had a massage hut right outside our door.I had a hour massage with Patrica and would highly recommend . We spent 3 nights and would definitely stay here again. Thanks again Alex was a pleasure meeting you and your staff.

Hotel was great! Simple accommodations and really close to North Beach. Staff was unbelievable and very helpful. I will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Cons:
-Shower not sufficient for women who want to shave.
-Shower leaks out onto the floor pretty badly. Have a towel that you can put down.
-Grounds could use attention. Put things away and out of sight. Less clutter!

-Appreciate a medium size refrigerator
-Beds comfy
-Pool for a dip at night

-AC always cold

Great inexpensive hotel close to the beach. Older property, but well-maintained. Clean rooms and a comfortable bed. Hot water and again, great location! Also, the pool was super clean.

We enjoyed our stay at paradise suites, this was our second stay, quiet, clean, comfortable, with nice amenities …. Alex our host was great….

This is a quiet tucked back property with about 12 suites, very quiet, nice grounds and pool, friendly responsive staff and clean rooms. Very close to Playa Norte beach and less than a 5 minute walk to everything downtown. Would stay again!!

We loved this property! Would absolutely stay again. Very unique and authentically Mexican property. Our room was very nice with a built in kitchenette and pleasing decor and furniture. AC worked great and beds were soft. Only a few steps away from playa Norte and many amazing bars and restaurants were connected to the front of the property. Management and staff was very nice and helpful. Our massages from the spa were also amazing! All around great experience.

the first night I was given the wrong room, two beds instead of 1 king, the second night they upgraded us to an executive room with a king which was great. The hotel has much potential, loved the art around it and location was near the beach but not enough staff keeping up with cleaning rooms and common area, so parts of the garden looked very abandoned and trashy. I heard music through my bathroom window one day and a "male worker" was on his phone watching videos for 2 hours. without proper management this hotel will go under and it's a pity.

Excellent close location to North Beach in a quiet safe setting. We loved the black out curtains, air conditioning, water cooler, fridge and excellent property manager, Alex who spoke perfect English and who was so helpful and accommodating.

We reserved room 8 and received a text message that we were given room 4 which was closer to the street and noisy. We had specifically reserved a room towards the back of the property. No one at reception the whole time we were there. Coffee pot had no coffee filters. Overall the location is good next to Playa Norte but run down. Pillows were flat and uncomfortable.

Very clean and quiet. Will go back again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Paradise Suites. We were at another hotel with a beach view, but still elected to move here because of the convenience to Plays Norte and Hidalgo. We also appreciated having more amenities like the kitchenette, which was nice since we stayed a couple weeks. Great shower pressure with hot water was an upgrade for us too! The entire staff was great to work with! Alex was communicative and accommodating. Housekeeping did a great job ensuring clean rooms and fresh towels when we needed them. Grounds crew was always busy maintaining the place and the spa staff were friendly as we came in and out. Also, LOVED the pool. We will be back next year! Thanks Alex and team!

I really can't say enough wonderful things about Hotel Paradise Suites! Alex, the manager, is wonderful! Very responsive to questions before and during our stay.

The place is lovely, great location, very comfortable. I kind of want to keep it a secret but also wish them great success. We'll definitely be booking again!

Loved this place quiet, clean, nice amenities,grounds need some TLC, location great ,have been to Isla many times had a great time as usual
