Clean room and great breakfast

Breakfast was amazing, and the view of the city from the breakfast area is very scenic. Staff were pleasant and made check-in/out easy. The coffee in the room was really good! Parking onsite was very helpful & within walking distance of the college, restaurants, etc.

When we got there my husband asked if there was any handicap accessible rooms as I didn't see any when booking the room. Brooke was able to perform some magic and was able to find a room for us. When we got to the room it was so much more than we were expecting. Throughout our stay Brooke and Linda were rockstars in customer service. We will definitely be back next time we are in Menomonie.

Overall, I rated this location very high. It is perfect location for the Mabel Tainter crowd (like us) and the staff are great. Asking about cleanliness and the breakfast are softball questions to boost ratings cuz if there are real problems with those, the location is doomed.

The facilities leave some things to be desired.
1) The Wi-fi (which said it had a password but actually didn’t – it connected immediately) was an unsecure network (that Said “No Internet Connection”) so anything I tried to browse gave me security warnings and wouldn’t connect to streaming services. (My Geek Brain says the router is misconfigured so the secure network hasn’t been enabled)
2) There was NO HOTEL INFORMATION of any kind in the room other than the evacuation thing on the door. We have stayed all over the world and there have been a handful of stays without a booklet, brochure, etc in the room with basic info about the facility, like where are stairs, elevator, ice, vending machines, etc. And, along those lines, information about the city, neighborhood, etc was nonexistent IN THE ROOM.
3) I knew this going in but no pool or hot tub. For us, that detracts from the overall price value
4) The room itself was very nice (bed was great) BUT only a desk chair and work table (no drawer so not a desk). No couch or any other kind of chair despite a huge empty space in the room. Any room should have seating for more than one person other than the bed. We speculate that our room was converted to a single king from a double queen which would be fine if the extra space was utilized. (To be clear, the room did have a dresser that the TV sat on and a buffet where the fridge and microwave resided)
5) It didn’t really matter this stay but I noticed that had we wanted fresh air, it was unavailable as the windows can’t even be cracked open. Not the same thing, but no fan in the bathroom either.

As always, my stay at Cobblestone -- Menomonie was wonderful. Friendly, helpful staff, nice room and a good breakfast. Love the convenient location!

Rooms were clean and comfortable and quiet. Staff friendly and breakfast excellent. Across street from Mable Tainter Theater. Stores and great food and drinks are walkable.

Very clean, close to our event and the staff were very nice.

We very satisfied with our recent stay at the Cobblestone Inn. The hotel’s location to Main Street with restaurant choices and staff were both fantastic.
