Pleasant overall would have a meal here again but would not stay
Pros:

Old fashion charm, location was good and free parking on site

Cons:

Was disappointed with the room although clean was no more than a box room and was stuffy unable to open the window, noisy from kitchen fan which kept going all night . Nothing like the photo that we booked.

Pros:

.

Cons:

Very poor experience with cancellation handling and communication at The Bellw in Winslow.

A booking was made in error and cancellation was requested within minutes. Despite the extremely short timeframe and no use of the reservation, there was no flexibility or willingness to resolve the issue.

Communication from the property was unhelpful and dismissive, with no attempt to support a genuine mistake scenario.

On top of this, there is inconsistent information regarding check-in times (website states one policy, phone support gives another), which creates confusion at the point of booking.

Booking.com confirmed that a cancellation fee waiver was appropriate, but the property still refused to cooperate, making the resolution process unnecessarily difficult.

Overall, the experience shows poor customer handling, inconsistent information, and a lack of flexibility even in obvious error situations.

Perfectly comfortable, very good value, nice staff and venue.
Pros:

Breakfast was a bargain, room was very reasonable, spacious and comfortable. Much nicer than a modern, purpose built hotel with 100's of soulless rooms. All the staff were responsive, courteous and not too formal.

Cons:

Nothing to fault.

Pros:

Authentic rustic, and kind and staff. No sign of a ghost, but a very pleasant atmosphere and fantastic food.

Cons:

Bathroom radiator needs a clean... There is no shower gel provided, (which we knew in advance) but still forgot to take, no complaint here, if I could change anything at all, it would be the shower curtain, it kinda hems you in when you're in the shower. Also needs a mattress protector.
Would we stay again... Yes definitely love it
