I had stayed at a Tapestry In Fenwick Island DE that was amazing, this stay was nowhere near that.
Pros:

I had a decent nigh sleep.

Cons:

Upon arrival the bar was playing loud music that made the check-in difficult. The room I reserved was not available. We could not find the hotel packing lot, nor when we arrived did the front desk ask us if we did. Coffee was not ready in the lobby until 7:30?? Most like would not return.

Our local favorite spot.
Pros:

The staff is amazing ! Very welcoming and accommodating . The bar was a nice atmosphere. great drink options and the food was delicious . We also enjoyed the jazz performers.

Very nice stay in Rahway
Pros:

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I enjoy staying at different properties across the Hilton portfolio when I visit a particular area. Being a resident of New Jersey, staying in this area is important to me when I don't wish to drive home after dark. A rarity, but I had stayed at the Watt once before for a similar reason. One cannot beat its proximity to a train station, which is the way I usually travel. Coming home from a much longer trip on Amtrak to Metropark, I was able to leave my car where it was, hop up one station on NJT to Rahway to get to this hotel.

As I always do, via the Hilton app I checked in and chose my room the day before arrival. That worked well, and I appreciated the Diamond upgrade.

Upon arrival I did stop at the desk to obtain a plastic key since I remembered there were extra doors to go through to get to the guest rooms. Staff at the desk was cordial and helpful.

The room was huge, almost too large for my needs. But I got the impression that is was a little under-furnished... .too much empty space. I think the room could have used more furniture or something to fill in the space. The separate bedroom was equipped with its own climate control, and also a sound machine, which I had not seen before but I realized that some might be bothered by the frequent train horns. They ARE loud, but if you've travelled there by train, leave there by train, and just travelled by train for the past week, you kind of expect it. :)

Another nit in the room was the lack of a desk. I had to move the dining table closer to reach an outlet in order to plug in my laptop and phone.

Still had decent sleep, and in the morning I was prepared to return to Metropark and my car and head home. Overall, a nice stay in a very convenient location.

Pros:

Room was very modern and clean. The young man who worked the night of the 26th and 27th was very friendly. The lady who worked the bar was fantastic. Location is right across from the train station which makes it very convenient to get into rhe city. Overall good experience.

Cons:

Our room was on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately there is a dog club/daycare directly next door. The dogs begin barking very early in the morning, which is outside of the hotels control. Security door was a little hard to pull but again there was not anything that would keep me from coming back.

Good stay for location.
Pros:

It’s in a good location. Near several restaurants and the train station.

Cons:

The parking is not included or discounted. You have to pay every time you enter the lot. The parking deck is not connected to the hotel via the elevator.
