Great value for money in terms of space(!), location, pool and staff friendliness. In a city where hotel rooms are notoriously tiny, these serviced apartments provides a very comfortable temporary home - and the entire CBD is within (covered) walking distance. A great stay!
We had executive room on 15th floor looking out at harbour and could look down to the pool. Modern facilities. Comfortable bed. Wifi and aircon excellent. Liked having pod coffee and different teas, microwave and induction stove top worked well,needed staff to inform how they work. Reception and bar and pool gym are on the 7th floor. Nice ambiance. Friendly and helpful staff. Staff Mizi was full of suggestions.
2 MRT stations nearby. Easy to walk to China town, Marina Bay Area and hawker eating centers. From the building the hotel is in, on ground floor, you can walk in aircon along a passage way with shops and cafes. So some of the walk towards Marina Bay can be in aircon. The hotel has shuttle bus at 1000 and 1700 to take you to main areas. We then walked back. The train system is also easy to navigate. Thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and location. Also would like to thank them for the little cake and kind words on card for our 50th wedding anniversary
Just on arrival in the room, was a bit upset about the view outside. There was a big building construction site visible which spoils the view a bit but no noise from it in the room and I got use to it. The ships coming and going made up for it. The pool is a bit cool due to it being in shade. Best time was around lunchtime when it got some sun.

Very clean, modern and comfy, a really nice hotel! Overall enjoyed our stay.
Some staff were reluctant and seemed bothered when asking for their help. For example, trying to get service at the bar made you feel like you were an inconvenience to the designated staff member whilst they browsed their phone.

Mizi provideded us with great advice on what to see & do in Singapore!
Our stay at DAO was perfect! We traveled as a couple with another couple overnight after a cruise. The Conceige MIZI did everything to ensure our stay was perfect. Helped with mapping out our day in Singapore, even arranged for transportation to our starting point.....and after forgetting our tickets in the lobby, we called him and he drove them to us! He was always checking in on us!
The pool was a welcomed break on the day of our departure to relax a bit before our long journey home. Breakfast, room, bed etc all great! We would recommend staying at Dao by Dorsett and we would stay again next time we are in Singapore.
We enjoyed our time at the Dao By Dorsett AMTD. Fantastic location near Shenton Way, and it is located within the OUE Downtown building with many food options. Ilakkiya, Jason, Alicia, Rajan, Alik and Yan Ping are wonderful staff who made our stay memorable. Thank you all for the fantastic service.
It is a very attractive and quite luxurious hotel. Our room was large enough and very well designed and had all the facilities anyone could need including a tea and coffee facilities and an iron and board! If only all hotels supplied an iron! The Bathroom was particularly attractive. The pool was exceptionally beautiful and gorgeous to use at night with the city lights in view.
I think everything was perfect.
