Great location, a little extravagant, but fun.
Great location
Excellent views
Wonderful experience
Beautiful hotel with some missing touches.
We stayed in a king Terrace room...great size with some lovely amenities and a huge terrace!
Check in was smooth and lovely, we were escorted to our room which was nice too.
First night turn down service was terrific with some fresh fruit, water , slippers, bath robes hung eyc
Unfortunately from there it went down hill...and honestly I know this sounds so picky ...no fruit , bath robes in the cupboard from there on in...such a minor thing but the room rate is the same each night...so you would expect the same
As said we had a huge terrace with 2 chairs and an umbrella...but no table...the terraces both beside us had small outside tables so I asked if we could as well...I was told " no we don't have tables for outside " ???
All in all it was a lovely hotel but for the price I would expect a little more
I am picky on all areas but this hotel thought thru most areas and very satisfying on my stay!!
What a beautiful Hotel, the rooms were amazing big comfy bed, wonderful shower and dressing room.
The little things they did at nightly turndown were wonderful ie cakes, lavender spray for your pillow.. we loved checking for our little gifts each night. My only complaint would be the breakfast food being cold. And the language barrier between the servers and us was difficult. Would 10O% recommend this beautiful Hotel.
Nice room,friendly staff, good area
We travelled to 3 countries over a period of 4 weeks, and this hotel was the best of them all. Elegant and opulent from the moment you arrive. Perfect location, Incredible staff and wonderful facilities. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
I would highly recommend anyone the beautiful Bellagio it was gorgeous.
Booked three rooms for five nights.
The location is impeccable and free parking is a big plus.
The Chinese staff are very nice and friendly. However the foreign staff are not. The young white lady in the lobby is kind of arrogant and does not greet guests at all (at least not to Chinese guests).
Secondly, one of the rooms (1036) has pretty bad smoking odor and we had to move the kids to other rooms that are pretty far away from the elevator.
Check in was very fast
My room was 1037
Big and clean
Fast internet
Breakfast: Simple but very good. Shrimp and pork dumplings were to die for. I ate 10 of them.
All hotel staff was very nice. They called a taxi right away when I needed one.
No laundry facilities but the front office was able to locate one for me
This hotel is next to the river with great night views of the Oriental Pearl Tower.
I had a facial at the Spa. The lady that helped me was very nice.

perfect!
Nice service. comfortable space.
It is a very nice hotel on 188 North Suzhou Road. A wonderful location for taking beautiful pictures of the landmarks. Hotel staff are all very polite and friendly. The gentleman, Jerry Pan, who registered me and my husband at check-in, is very professional. He made sure everything was resolved at our satisfaction.
We rented the premier room on the sixth floor with a big balcony overseeing the Suzhou Creek and a direct view to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower area. The day time view was great but the night time view with the light show was a breathtaking beauty you can ever see a commercial district.
I think there are several restaurants in the hotel. We only tried the Chinese Restaurant at the 1st floor and the breakfast at the 2nd floor. The breakfast was a half buffet that you can choose one of the three set breakfasts and get more rest from buffet. Food is overall pretty good.
There is an Italian restaurant on the other side of the sixth floor separated from the guest room by security which also has great views if you can’t get a room with the view and the balcony.
Exceptional Service, most of the staff has limited English but quality that they don’t shy in calling someone who speaks and help you out
Wonderful experience at the breakfast, super efficient and accommodating servers
Hats off to Concierge Robin, we wanted to eat out and walked with us to the restaurant across the street and took us the restaurant located at 3rd floor and when we came back was waiting for us to check if all went well
Massage experience was too good as well
Bellagio by MGM Shanghai is the first Bellagio Hotel in China and the second in the world succeeding its sister hotel, Bellagio Las Vegas. Proudly sitting at No. 188 Beisuzhou Road, surrounded by authentic and rich history of Shanghai, leading hospitality design firm WATG and affiliated design studio Wimberly Interiors have designed the Bellagio by MGM Shanghai.
The rooms and suites of Bellagio by MGM Shanghai provide a haven of luxury. Some of the rooms feature a private and stylish terrace, where you can enjoy the striking view of the Lujiazui skyline, complete with the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Landmark skyscrapers.
The hotel room was spacious, clean and orderly. What was disappointing was that the terrace open time was too short. I tried to stop by in the evening around 10PM and the restaurant was already closed and we can’t access the terrace to have a view of the Bund, which was the primary reason we booked this hotel.
I came here for my birthday and went to take a swim at the pool. Unfortunately, there were so many people at the pool, that my pool sandals got mixed in with everyone else’s. When I went to find some more, the pool staff refused to give me any, saying I should go and “find my own.” Then when I went to the locker room to find some more, the same member of the pool staff creepily followed me a few feet behind until i was at the locker room, watching me like I was going to steal something. I felt extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome.
This place ain’t the Bellagio Last Vegas, that’s for sure. Will not be coming back, and will be telling my friends not to come either.
Simply wao, what a great hotel, beautiful, modern, new, great people attending sadly the language barrier and lack of English was a problem to comunícate. But besides that, great. Must work on areas to enjoy after 8 pm. Everything closed and that is no good for customers.
